Mooch in the Moment -- A Lavinia Card

Hi there!  Mooch is the cat, in case you were wondering.  I dipped into my Lavinia stamps and endeavored to use some that have not yet seen ink.  In this case it's Mooch and the crows.

When I start adding ink I'm am not always sure where I'll end up.  Maybe this is a big harvest moon, but I can't say that was exactly the plan.  Inks are Memento Tuxedo Black and Stampin' Up.  I didn't do anything special or extra.  It's just plain old stamping and lots and lots of color.  The sentiment is from a retired Power Poppy set.

I'll send my card over to Darnell's NBUS Challenge #59 because I was pleased to use Mooch and the crows for the first time.

All the Lavinia stamps are listed below.  Thank you for coming to visit.  I'll be back when something crafty happens.  Enjoy your weekend!

OH, Leslie! What you call 'plain old stamping..' seems like SO much more! Gorgeous ink blending, color choices, and I sure do love that cat! Remember Heckle and Jeckle? Those crows sure triggered a memory!
LOve it and enjoyed every moment of this post!

Leslie, I always enjoy your Lavinia creations. The leafy tree branch and crows are great! Mooch is in my stash, too, and I just love the scruffy, on-high-alert, but-I'm-a-reserved-soul expression he has. No matter what the scene, Mooch is in control. LOL The masking in your colorful background looks beautiful, of course! I like that you let the colors take you on the journey. hugs, de

Mistakenly read your 1st paragraph as using new cat and cow stamps, and I'm looking at your card asking "what cows"! Oh boy, am I getting old and blind or what?!! But anyway, your kitty and the CROWS are awesome on this wonderful card Leslie, and I'm loving all the background blended colors with the silhouette stamping too! FABULOUS card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

This is beautiful Leslie! The colors are fabulous and I love how you put all the images together to make such a peaceful scene. Although, maybe Mooch has something not so peaceful in mind with those birds.

Absolutely amazing card Leslie! Love how you created your scene, the beautiful blended background, your leafy branches some near some far, the crows and then of course Mooch - it's so perfect Leslie. Absolutely love this! You have a wonderful ability to take what you vision and create it! I hope we get to see more of these types of artwork with your Lavinia stamps. Hope you are keeping well.
