Happy Bird-Day!

Hey, there!  Friday seems like a good day for a fun card, and this was surely a fun card to make.  Easy, relaxing, carefree, and colorful.  Very colorful.

I combined a Whipper Snapper "The Flock" image with an old SU! "Love Ya Bunches" sentiment.  Took my color cue from the picture on the stamp package, but intensified the color by about a million percent.  It's watercolored with the Tombow markers you see in the photo, plus some blue ink for the background.

Finished up the inside with matching paper and die, as well as a favorite old Hero Arts zigzag stamp.

That's it!  Very simple.  Hope you have a great weekend.  Love ya bunches!

"Love Ya Bunches" (sentiment)  Paper:  Neenah classic white card base, 140 lb hot press watercolor, Bazzill lime green, Memory Box Key Lime (leaf), Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid designer paper  Ink:  Palette Noir, SU! Oh my what a fun and colourful card Leslie! Love it all, the colours are fabulous so bright and cheery, your flawless stitching and love that you off centered it to the left. Oh and yes the inside - the sentiment couldn't be more perfect! Sigh - this just makes me want to colour today. Hey I'm off today, maybe I will do just that. I might have to dig out my Whipper Snapper stamps to see what I can colour. I have so many stamps I forgot all about the WS stamps! Thanks so much for inspiring us today, it's always a treat to see your cards in my Feedly post. Have a great weekend as well. Hugs,

Oh, I LOVE this bunches!!! This is just the cutest thing ever! LOVE all the bright colors & paper. It just makes such a cheerful, happy, little card that is guaranteed to make someone smile ear to ear! What a fabulous way to start the day! I love Whippersnapper stamps but because of their angel policy I never buy them. This cutie might make me change my mind!

woooo! A brand new blog! Love it, and I am following you (again) on Bloglovin'. Thanks for having the handy button in your column!

Wonderfully colorful creation, Miss Leslie, with the happiest of colors on these darling little birdies. I think they are all lined up to visit your glorious garden and chomp down on the seed, before visiting your birthday recipient! It's really a fantastic creation, and is sure to make your friend smile! Love the stitching on the inside, and the pretty paper! hugs, de

This is such a cute card! It reminded me when I was a kid when I saw it. My Mom would hang out the clothes and it was my job to make sure none o the birds would come and perch on the lines and poop! So my friend and I would sit underneath the clothes line and play a game until they were dry! Such memories! Your birds are a lot prettier than the ones we use to scare away! Have a great weekend!

Your card is absolutely beautiful Leslie, loving the gorgeous colors!! Also wanted to stop by to thank you for the tips about photography. Looks like I need to buy a couple more OTT lamps, to help with the problem I am having with lighting. Thank you again!!

OH, I think I still have "Love Ya Bunches!" It's a cute set. And I love the tropical colored birds on here. So fun!

Oh, Leslie, I LOVE these little birds! Wow, the color are fabulous, and what a sweet lineup of these guys! When it's wintertime here, all the northern snowbirds (the flying ones with wings) gather on the power and cable lines at some of the major intersections. It's fun to see them. Beautifully done, and it really makes me smile! Hugs, sweet friend!
