Camping on the Water's Edge

Hello!  I'm back with a reminder card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  It's been a treat to play along as guest designer this month!

The theme is always "anything goes", and the optional theme this month is "in or on the water".

*******

The scene-making bug took hold of me for this card.  It just happened.  I combined the Penny Black Camping stamp (💗) with the Immense Enjoyment die and gave her a campsite by the water.  I had help with other dies from my stash, plus managed to work some designer paper into it as well.

The site resembles a few places we've camped in eastern Oregon or Utah.  Fun times!

Maybe you've got a Penny Black stamp or two and you'd like to play along in the challenge.  We'd love to see you there!

Enjoy your day!

Stamps:  Penny Black Camping, retired SU Itty Bitty Backgrounds splatter stamp  Paper:  Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth Solar White, green scraps, KaiserCraft Hunt & Gather designer paper  Ink:  Various Stampin' Up  Coloring:  Copics  Dies:  Penny Black Immense Enjoyment, Memory Box Pine Trees, Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes, Impression Obsession Mountains

I can't imagine a better spot to pitch a tent, Leslie! It has everything your darling little camper could need including a little feathered friend!
You are a wonderful guest designer, my friend! I don't think I have any PB sets with water besides those dogs in a boat and I see one of your teammates has used that one! I may have to put my thinking cap on - or send out a 'mayday!'

That bug took hold and pointed you in the perfect direction, Leslie! This is as cute as it can be. Wonderful colors too. That little camper is a sweetie! Her pigtails remind me of Pippy Longstocking!

I have been in my craft room all day is it is dark and raining. So glad that I peeked at my mail to see your post. Adorable scene and that cute camper peeking out. But the best is the ENJOY sentiment in the background. You have made a superb card!

Love the cute scene you created. I'm not a fan of camping myself, but I can appreciate your creation.

I love everything about this pretty card, Leslie! I've been online just dreaming of places to go (a HOT summer is wearing me out, lol) And here you've created a fabulous scene! Your creative genius has gone over the top with this one. It all fits together so perfectly!

Leslie, this is the cutest card! I love this little one peeking out of the tent. Then to add it to a scene and make it part of a word, is truly amazing! You are one talented lady!

A cutie pie little camper for sure and what a fabulous scene you have created, my camping days are over but it sure is fun to see your card and remember all the fun days I had with it years ago! My daughter and her hubby left yesterday for a two week trip out west camping along the way, they made it as far as WI last night!! I have to admit I am a little bit jealous!!

What a fun and fabulous card, Leslie! I love the cute little girl in the tent and how she is over the sentiment just a little bit. And, I love camping. We just had a camper cabin for a few days at a state park. Not quite like tent camping, but we need to charge our devices and I even brought my laptop! LOL!

How cool is that, defiantly looks like a scene from out west for sure, I love the little banner on her tent and the cute bird checking out the new camper, fantastic colors in the mountains in the background, she is too cute, great coloring of it all!

Your camping scene is so cute! I love how you out everything together especially the adorable camper with the little bluer bird keeping watch. The different colors of the mountains reminded me of when we were in Arizona.

How wonderful, Leslie! PB could not have chosen a more talented or loyal ambassador for their products! Of course I’m in love with your masterpiece. The layers of brown tones and mountainous landscape are pure loveliness for those happy little campers! Leslie, thanks for sharing the northwest with this southeast Floridian. Sending hugs and congratulations…. Hugs, de
