Bittersweet Wreath

Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving holiday, if and when you celebrate it!

This is my last fall card of the year, using the last of this year's fall stamps.  Actually, this stamp is a digi from Power Poppy, called Bittersweet Wreath.  Printed on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics.

I know you're probably busy with no time to linger, if you even have time to visit at all, so I won't keep you.  I feel as though I need to slow down or refocus or narrow my activities for the time being.  When I spread myself too thin I'm never satisfied with the outcome of things.  A Type A personality I am not!  Have a happy day!

I love the way you worded that... "as though I need to slow down or refocus or narrow my activities for the time being." Yes!!! That put into words what I am often feeling. It is nice to know someone else feels that way, too! Hugs!!

We are always critical of our own work, but this is beautiful! Your colour choices and colouring are fabulous, the depth in the wreath is awesome and the highlights on the sentiment really make it pop. Love it!

Lovely one to end your fall cards with, this is my favorite kind of wreath for the Autumn season, like how you highlighted the sentiment also. Like how the string separates the image and sentiment

Happy Thanksgiving - sorry a day late! Leslie, your card is so beautiful. Love your colours and the way you did the shading in behind using the pointillism technique. The gold twine finishes this off perfectly. I always admire you stitching, it so perfect. I never get my corners like yours - you have a real knack. A fabulous card to finish off your fall cards!

Oh, Leslie, I love this wreath, and what perfect coloring! And I really LOVE your stitching! It's just so perfect, and I need to get my machine out in 2017 and start doing some. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving (yes, I am SO late...ha!), but I also hope you are enjoying getting ready for Christmas, my friend! Sending hugs and love! xoxo
