Hello and happy day to you! Moving right along with some flowers... this Penny Black Meander stamp has only been waiting since spring for me to put it to paper. Sometimes I forget how much I love to just sit and quietly color.
Stamped on hot press watercolor paper with Ranger Archival Watering Can, the coloring is with Tombow brush markers and the occasional use of homemade blender solution in a blank Copic marker. It's my go-to coloring method these days. I can't say it's easier or more difficult than other methods, but I enjoy it.
I also enjoy playing with designer paper and I've got way too much of it, so I'll take any opportunity to put it to work. Here are some oldies that are unobtrusive enough to play backup for the flower image.
The sentiment is a composite from the Penny Black Note Builder set. Have I mentioned how much I adore my Penny Black stamps? If I could only have one bucket of stamps... well, thank goodness I don't have to choose.
I made today's card with specific challenges in mind:
The Flower Challenge #95 -- Include a stamped flower. Stamps are my first love in this craft.
NBUS Challenge #66 -- Never before used schtuff. The Penny Black Meander flower wreath is a first time use.
I rarely do that many challenges for one card, but they were all so inspiring and it was easy to fit them in. Sending thanks to all the folks who work to keep them going.
And thank YOU for kindly dropping in. Let's do this again soon. Take care!

Well now! Isn't this just gorgeous! Those beautiful yellow flowers just say sunshine to me and I love the pretty background papers. Well done!
This is beautiful Leslie. You certainly know how to work magic with your Tombow's. The coloring is fabulous! The background papers are subtle but noticeable and add to the beauty of this sweet card.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Leslie! I had wanted this stamp set when it first came out, but decided my coloring skills weren't up to Jill Foster's and now yours, so I let it pass! I'm sure glad you picked it up though as you've colored it to perfection my friend, and I'm loving the background of dsp too! Lovely, lovely card and so glad you shared it with us at The Flower Challenge!! Hugs. :0)

Just gorgeous. Love the pretty watercoloring. Meander is such a peaceful word. I bet you and Sophie like to meander through the woods and flowers around your home.
Leslie, you may forget that pleasure, but I don't ever tire of seeing your gorgeous coloring and am thrilled every time you share it! Incredibly well done and gorgeous, my friend! I was thrilled to see this one in our TFC gallery today!

I am so glad to hear that you have found some time to find the joy in colouring again. What a beauty it is too. I do love the yellow and green and the little peeks of papers finish it off perfectly xx
Well Leslie, at the moment I am working my way down to a bucket of stamps! It will be the biggest basket that I can find, loaded with mostly PB. What I came to say is that I couldn't love this card more! The colored wreath is gorgeous, and I love how the papers enhance it! You know how I feel about yellow and sequins too.
