Hello, friends! I'm back to my Double D Challenge duties today. The DDs and team were very patient with me while I dealt with life stuff and I appreciate them so much.
Diane has given us a cheerful challenge today -- sunflowers. You just have to feel good looking at those bright yellow blooms. Here's our inspiration board:

Yellow sunflowers and blue butterflies... I think you can see which corner of the board inspired me. I've crafted a simple design with crisp white layering on an embossed card base trimmed with a strip of polka dots.
I colored with Copics on Neenah white, added black pearls to the butterfly bodies. All supplies are well loved and oft used.

Beautiful, Leslie! The pretty blue butterflies and lovely sunflowers really are the subject of this scene against the white background. Love the strip of green polka dots to offset the white. Sweet sentiment.

wonderful sunny card. Makes me smile. Glad to see you playing. We've been having such beautiful sunny days here in Calgary even with the water restrictions for the past several months. It's been glorious spending time outside.

There is nothing better than sunflowers. The birds and flowers make such a cheerful card! Our local hospital has a huge field planted with sunflowers and it is such a beautiful sight. They let people come and take pictures. So much fun! Glad to see you posting again!
