Hi friends! Just coloring today. Penny Black's New Day is one of many stamps I bought from their Scent of Spring collection. I hope I can get them all colored before the next release.
This card is 4 1/2" x 6" so as not to crowd the beauty. It's about the largest card size I feel comfortable with. I stamped with Memento Toffee Crunch on Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140 hot pressed watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers, no water, and only minimal use of the blender solution.
I also got the Background Basics stencils which were released last year, and the older Thinking of You sentiment set.
I would like to have more time to linger here, but the day is getting away from me and I have lots to do yet. I'll share in some challenges I enjoy:
Four Seasons Challenge, April -- Anything Goes Spring
NBUS Challenge #61 -- Never before use schtuff. My New Day stamp and Background Basics stencil are new.
Thanks for your time. Enjoy your day!

When I saw Jill Foster's video using this image I was so tempted to buy it, but then thought there's no way I can do this image justice, but you sure have Leslie and your card and coloring are STUNNING!! I would frame this beauty...seriously!! You have the magic touch my friend...LOVE this!! Hugs. :0)
There's only one thing that could make this better, Leslie: if you showed your work video style! I love the 'hammered copper' look of your darling watering can.
So very beautiful and deserving of that 'halo'!

What a gorgeous card, you have outdone my expectations which are always sky high when I see your creations. What you've done with this "just coloring" session is amazing! I bought tombow markers after seeing your lovely designs with them - can't say they quite worked that way for me, lol. I love the use of those stencils. Stunning and it's heartwarming that you're getting some craft time in.
