Double D Challenge: Cute Little Animals

Hello friends!  A lot of sweet critters are coming out to play at Double D today as Diane is asking to see Cute Little Animals.

I have plenty of cute little animals in my collection and I was happy to pull out my Tombow markers and blender to color up these two for the challenge.  They're from the Penny Black Critter Fun set.

It's a simple card with a little designer paper and lots of white.  I added a butterfly and a die cut sentiment and it's ready to go when the time arises.

The team has lots of adorableness to show you today.  Come visit and play at Double DHave a happy day!

Stamps:  Penny Black Critter Fun  Paper:  Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140 lb hot press watercolor, other white for card base, pink Bazzill scrap for sentiment, Echo Park Happy Summer designer paper  Ink:  Palette Noir  Coloring:  Tombow markers and blender  Other:  Rhinestones, Impression Obsession Medium Butterflies, Spellbinders Big Scalloped Ovals, Creative Expressions Stacked Happy Birthday, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

Oh my goodness that is just adorable, I always love the ones where he is rushing to give a present and that bird is just too cute, I like the die cut you chose to frame it and the butterfly is sweet too, like just a little touch of the paper in the background too!

Totally adorable - and see how sweet that hedgehog is? Unlike the bunny I have in my garden who doesn't seem to want my new tulips to grow!
Such a sweet birthday card, Leslie!

What a sweet little group of critters you've used, Leslie! This is an adorable card. Our granddaughter had a class mascot when she was in pre-school... a hedgie named lollipop!

You are so clever at using papers in fresh ways Leslie! I love the bright pattern and the pulling out of a few of the colours to add colour to your critter image. I love the amount of movement on your card too - bees and butterflies zooming around and the gems adding to that movement too.
Talking of zooming, the golden girls send zoomies to Sophie. Hope she's enjoying her classes! Vicky x

This sweet card screams out SPRING! I love the critters and the white space to show off the images and the patterned paper. My granddaughter just left yesterday. Grandma needs a rest, but that would mean some hours in the craft room.
