Picture Perfect Sloth

Hi, there!  I'm happy to see you again this week.  I thought I might skip blogging this week in exchange for simply coloring, but that didn't happen.  How is it that the weeks go by so quickly?  I've been outside planting flowers rather than sitting at my coloring table or the computer.

Nevertheless, I did finish one card.  It's a quickie and a cutie.  I've had this MFT Picture Perfect set for over a year and I've only colored one of its six image stamps... Wait... what?  How is it that the years go by so quickly?  I guess my stamp buying spree goes back further than I thought.  Still trying to catch up.  Will it ever happen?

I made this clean and simple -- bright on white with some cute and glittery die cut leaves and a punched heart.  I'll list everything below.

I'll be coloring more of this set soon, seeing as how I stamped it all out so it would be sure and get done.  It's too cute to leave it lay dormant.  Why do we do that?  This post is full of questions, isn't it?

I'm playing along at NBUS Challenge #15 with my never before used sloth.

Thanks for coming to visit!  Have a great day!

What a cutie...how could you leave him waiting and waiting and...lol just kidding. Love the blues and greens. A sweet and calming card.

Wait. What? You stamp the whole set out to make sure it gets used eventually? Girl, you have a HUGE brain! That is simply genius! I can't stand leaving a box of NBUS lying around so I put everything away and that's when it gets completely forgotten. If I stamped them all out, it would be much neater and easier to keep them in an box of unfinished images to reach for! Sorry, now you've got me going! Where to start? Love your cutie patootie sloth and I have to say, it looks very much like he loves me right back!! As always, great design and coloring! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Keep on keeping safe! Hugs, Darnell

You know what else? I have that software that you fill in to keep track of what you have - the name escapes me ATM, but I haven't done it because it's a huge project, but if I'm taking all my stamps out anyway to stamp them, I can kill two ants with one stone!! (I don't like to kill birds.) Now see what you've done!! Mwah!

This is really so adorable. Sloths get a bad rap because people think they are lazy. They are just chill. We could all learn a lesson from them. Love that you jazzed up your leaf dies.

HE is just too cute not to play with, I agree the days just go by way too quickly anymore. I keep telling myself to stop buying anymore until you have used everything but then something catches my attention.
I love your glitter pattern in the heart and leaves, you always have the cutest touches.
Sounds like your garden is getting a lot of attention, sure Wally and Lulu are happy to spend time out there with you working :)

This is so cute and fun! I love the coloring. I have not made as many cards this week either as time was consumed with other things. But I guess that is okay.

This little guy is so cute! What a nice way to send a note to someone just to let them know you were thinking of them. All your little touches make the card perfect. Glad you are getting outside. We got very hot and humid here, so lots of watering to do. I have no idea where all the time goes. I wonder how I got things done before I retired.

Love your card - I am not a fan of the sloth images but this one is so cute how could you not love him!!!

I have to tell you I can relate to the "wait - what?" part of your post!!!! Oh my goodness, I have printed out stacks from my digital days that could keep me busy coloring for years!!! Not sure if I should laugh at that or cry!!???? Your card is a cheery hello to some lucky recipient! Your garden must be beautiful too!! Hugs

I'm glad you got this fun image on a card, Leslie. It put a big smile on my face! I love the texture you've given this furry character and the leafy background! I'll bet you smiled the whole time you were coloring!

This card is so very cute, Leslie! The sloth looks darling surrounded by colorful leaves. And a bit of glitter! Glad you took a bit of time to craft. I'm with you, it seems life is full of questions! And if they are questions about craft supplies - or craft purchasing - then they really are a mystery!
I can't wait to see the other images in this set on your cards!
