Yes, I know... it has a weirdly stylized look. Still not crazy about this paper for Copics.
To cheer up my moody cherries I added a sentiment from a retired clear set and accented with gingham paper and a striped faux enamel dot. The faux enamel dot is made with two 1/4" punched circles -- one of 110 lb cardstock and one of striped designer paper. Glued in place and coated with Glossy Accents.

Gorgeous and I now want to get to my fridge and munch up those cherries waiting forme.
Your cherries look good enough to eat! I love them. Cute idea on the feaux dot. All in all, a fabuilous look and card.
WOW, those cherries look so real. lovely card. Have a great day
Moody Cherries? I don't think so! In one way, your magnificent rendition reminds me of a Renaissance depiction of fruit with that Tuscany vibe. Then the other way is that they look so delicious I just want to gobble them up! Leslie, your checkered background with that darling tag is just the "cherry on top"! (sorry, I couldn't help myself). It's a beautiful creation especially with the soft pointillism technique! Wishing you well, love, de
Beautiful. I love the layered tags too.
Moody card - I don't think so! The cherries look good enough to eat - love the color you made them. I really don't know much about that cardstock but like the technique. Today is a happy day here in PA. We are finally in the green and things are opening up. The girls are happy as well as they have their job back. Hopefully, things will stay green! Have a great weekend!
Beautiful in all ways.
Oh, YES! I remember your faux enamel dots trick, you are a genius! I need to do that one! I love the stylized look of the cherries. And if you colored them differently I would probably love them just as much. Your card is wonderful, Leslie. Hope your weekend is too.
Gorgeous card and I love this smoosh technic. Not sure how you did that, but it looks fabulous. Thanks for more inspiration.
The cherries look ripe and delicious, Leslie! We love it when we can find West Coast cherries in the grocery store! Love the pointillism effect! Thanks for the tip on the faux enamel dot! It looks fabulous and is no doubt more postage friendly than the real thing! Have a great weekend!
I know you don't sound too happy with your results but it looks great to me, reminds me of those old italian paintings that have that artistic look to them, I love it! Your layering of the tags is a neat touch, I will have to try and remember that with my next tags I do :)
Wow Leslie I bow to your computer knowledge and art skills. The cherries look delicious :)
Oh my goodness, Leslie, those cherries are absolutely amazing!!! I can't believe what you can do with paper, and printer and Copics! Great job of using up that paper that you love so much. :)
These cherries look so delicious, ripe and perfect for eating! Leslie, your colouring skills always 'wow' me! This is beautiful, love the ripple filter look you added to your image. You are surely on point with the deep richness of the colours and your smooshy pointillism technique. Your sweet tag is simply 'sweet' and great idea for your enamel dot (must keep this in mind). And the shading .... well lets just say I love it! It was so nice to see your card today! No plans this weekend, heavy thunderstorm in the night, and doesn't look good for today. Maybe I'll get some colouring done! Have a fabulous day Leslie!
Oh how pretty, love your moody cherries! Would be so cute in a frame. We are gone for a month, maybe next m of nth too. I brought very little with me to work on so when we e run home for five days I will have to bring stuff back know, but the break feels good and I can see what others create at least.
Well I think it looks FABULOUS!! Your coloring is always 'spot on' and love how you did the sentiment ... aren't you clever!! Have a wonderful weekend!

What a cool technique you've used for your colouring, Leslie. To me it looks more like an old fashioned painting --- awesome!! Love the strip of gingham! xx
