Hi there! Big surprise, more Easter cards, but this time I stepped away from the cute cards so I could make something pretty with my Marvelous Magnolia 3D embossing folder & die set from Memory Box. It has been sitting -- never yet used -- since last spring. Shame on me, this pretty thing, tsk tsk. I made two cards, one using the dies, and one without.
All the 3D embossing folders with or without dies are fascinating to me. Such beautiful results. The first card also uses a Memory Box Oval Master Frame, Impression Obsession Easter Joy sentiment, and ancient Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder. I used sponge tip applicators to apply Distress Oxide inks to the flowers and sentiment.
The next picture shows the gloss on the sentiment. I pressed the die cut into my Versamark pad and embossed with clear powder.
The second card is a simpler design, monotone mauve with touches of white. I cut down the folder quite a bit to use on this mini-slimline. The whole card base was embossed with SU's Subtle 3D embossing folder. The tiny pearls are Nuvo drops, and the sentiment is an oldie from my stash.
Inside I used a trimmed off strip to decorate. The sentiment is from a retired Power Poppy clear stamp set.
Also playing along in Can You Handle the Pressure. I did not do the optional twist, but I did use two different embossing folders.
It's a good feeling to know that almost every time I play with something new I'm also playing with several older things in the process. I love my toys. That said, I'm due for a purge and it never gets any easier (sob), but it's a necessity in my small room.
I've been in a rush these last few days, but I hope we can do this again real soon. Have a happy day!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Works of art, Leslie. These are the classiest beautiful Easter cards. (I haven't had much luck with 3D folders.) The colors, the choices of images....everything is perfect.
Absolutely gorgeous cards Leslie! Both are so tastefully done. Your finishing touches of the embossed Easter Joy and the small tiny pearls made from Nuvo drops are both so perfect to finish off your cards. (BTW your tiny pearls are so perfect!) Glad you had some time to create and share, always love when you do!
Have a wonderful day Leslie!
Just BEAUTIFUL... You know I love flowers... Think I'll play with this image after doing some much needed Gelli prints. Have a great day
Both of these cards are absolutely GORGEOUS Leslie! I love the soft coloring you did on the 1st card and the oval framing sets off your Magnolias beautifully! And I love that Easter Joy die cut...may have to go looking for that one! Your 2nd card is just as beautiful with the soft white inking over top of the embossed image, and I love how you used a piece of the cut off on the inside. Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Both gorgeous cards, love the fabulous 3D embossing folder.

Beautiful cards my friend. I love the addition of the ink to the raised impressions from the EF.
First off, I must tell you that I love this shade of pink, Leslie! Just a teensy touch of lilac there, right? So pretty for your 3D embossed Magnolias! Why don't I remember how gorgeous these embossed images are swiped with white? Such a pretty joyous Easter sentiment... I have that ancient Swiss dot folder, too - still please me every time!
Two GORGEOUS Easter cards!

these are just so pretty and I am so pleased to hear that you have finally used that embossing folder and die. I don't have any of those sets yet, but when I see images like this, I think I must change that. both cards are simply amazing xx
Your cards are just stunning my friend! I love each and every one and think you have outdone yourself. I have really been enjoying playing with my embossing folders and you have given me some great ideas!
That's a fantastic folder Leslie and you've made two beautiful cards with it! I absolutely love the delicately coloured magnolia peeking out of the oval aperture! Vicky x

Two gorgeous cards here Leslie! What beautiful magnolia's! I love how softly you colored the magnolia's on the first card. That's almost the color of our magnolia tree when it's in bloom. The second card is stunning with just a smidge of white to bring attention to the lovely detail.
Both of these cards are so beautiful and stunning in pink. I love the die cut one the best as I love it peeking through the oval. I am so happy that you finally had time to use it. After you made your Valentine cards, I decided to do better for holidays and make and sent some out. You inspired me and I have a hand full of Easter cards to send this year.
Well I'm happy to see you finally brought this gem out to play! My goodness, Leslie are these beautiful! Quite dreamy, actually in the lovely shades of pink you've used!
WOW! Both cards are works of art, my friend. Now I need to go shopping for that folder!! xx
I'm also loving the shades of pink that you've used for these gorgeous Easter cards, Leslie! All your Easter cards have inspired me, but I especially think these are so elegant that they're my favorites. The slimline is unique in size and the embossing blends beautifully with that subtly embossed card base.
Oh my goodness they are both just stunnning, I do love the oval in the first and how the flowers are coming out of it, very pretty sentiment die with it.
The second is just as lovely, I like how youused it on a slimline card and the touches of white with the nuvo is so pretty against the pink.
spectacular cards, I love that Magnolia EF. I might just have to put that on my wish list :) The final cards is amazing with the snippet of embossed image just along the side ♥
Wow, this is a pretty one Leslie! Love that embossed sentiment too. Very clever indeed and such a cool look!! I have several of those new deep folders but have yet to use them...I love your inspiration-maybe I'll get with it! 💕Sue Kment
Absolutely gorgeous gorgeous cards!!! You have such a beautiful creative flair, I know with every visit here I am in for a beautiful treat!! MB certainly has been coming out with more and more beautiful dies and folders t temp us even more!! Thanks too for joining our challenge at Can You Handle The Pressure!!
Gosh, Leslie, I cannot decide which I am more in love with. (BTW, Happy Easter). Your choice of colors is impeccable (as always) and the dearness and delicateness of each card is pure gorgeousness. Yes, you are rivaling Mother Nature herself. Really, REALLY beauituful. I especially find the pink card with white detailing lovely. There is something about adding those "dots" to anything of Nature that reveals a breath of fragrance, life, movement and a "busy-ness" known only to flora. Exquisite, my dear friend! love, de
OMG ... how'd I miss this post? These are both just GORGEOUS! I love 3D embossing folders ... I think they are impressive on their own but then when you put extra elements to them like you have here, they are truly amazing works of art! LOVE that first card with the aperture ... so beautiful and of course the soft touches you have added to your 2nd card makes it so so lovely! You always inspire me! Happy Easter and thanks for sharing these beauties with us over on our Can You Handle the Pressure blog. Hugs
Oh my! what beautiful set of cards! I love this folder and die set especially the colors you chose. So soft and elegant! You show how different cards can look using the same set mof tools! Just lovely!
Oh my goodness, such beauty! I love them both, Leslie. I, too, am so amazed by the 3D embossing folders.
