Friday greetings, friends! Today's card will wrap up the Rubbernecker for this week. Next week, if stamping happens (and I'm pretty sure it will) I'll do something different. However, I still have another week of Rubbernecker to share later. I know! I let things pile up, but this idea of sorting my NBUS by company and staying focused on one company at a time has really helped make a difference in the overflow of those baskets.
Today I'm using Poppies, which was another clearance item. I did not have any sweet little poppies like this so was happy to add them to my collection. They're colored very simply with Tombow markers and blender. The sentiment is also Rubbernecker, but one I've had for many years.
I did outside the box die cutting, then popped up and tied the ribbon. Feeling good about using that ribbon. No big bulky bow to hinder mailing, so this works for me. The card base is vanilla on vanilla, with the layer partially embossed.
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your weekend!
Stamps: Rubbernecker Poppies, RN Just Because sentiment Paper: Arches 140 lb hot press watercolor, Cougar 100 lb vanilla, pale green Bazzill Ink: Palette Noir Coloring: Tombows and blender pen Other: Gingham ribbon, linen thread, Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls embossing folder, miscellaneous rectangle die, foam mounting tape

So very beautiful and absolutely love how you have cut around the one flower, such a clever design! I for one am NOT tired of seeing your rubbernecker cards, you have made me go there to look around at all their fun and pretty stamps! Thank you for joining and supporting our challenge at Can You Handle The Pressure!!
I love your card and how you used the stamp and cut out just a little bit to have it 'outside' the box. I also have that Cuttlebug folder and will have to pull it out to use now that I have seen it once again. Have a very good weekend!
Love this card and how you used your linen to tie a bow around the gingham ribbon! Embossing half of your card - love it! May have to use this card as one of my inspirations! Be blessed always, hugs
Wow that is gorgeous, I made a card very similar for Splitcoast team :) I love how you used the embossing on 2/3 of the card and you did such gorgeous coloring, the ribbon with the tie was a wonderful topping off of the card!
oh so pretty and delicate. Love the way you tied the ribbon, going to the left is unusual. Will have to remember that. Have a great day
Leslie, honestly, every design you make is one I want to CASE! This is sensational: love the embossing, the offset layered panel, the way you colored that awesome poppy stamp, and the way you used the ribbon! You used ribbon! You get A+ on working your way through your basket of NBUS by company! Thank you for inspiring everyone in the gallery! Hugs, Darnell
Gorgeous card and beautifully coloured poppies love the idea with the ribbon instead of a bow-great idea

Wow, beautiful Leslie! They are one of my favourite flowers.
Beautiful Leslie, those poppies are gorgeous and I do love the Rubbernecker stamps ♥
Another gorgeous card and I love flowers. The color on this is so beautiful. I always wondered what to do with an embossing folder that was open on one side. This is perfect.
Leslie, another amazing gorgeous floral card! You blow me away with your creativity! Love the design, fabulous idea of 'outside' the box, just love how that one poppy looks hanging off the side. Wonderful idea for the ribbon too. The embossed background is lovely, I have this folder and haven't used it in a very long time! I might need to case your layout! Thank you for sharing another Rubbernecker card, which I never tire of seeing, keep them coming! Wishing you a wonderful weekend Leslie!
Leslie, this is gorgeous. I love all the elements and how they come together.
Gorgeous, Leslie. The poppies are gorgeous and I love how the one flower spills of the layer. The added embossing, ribbon and twine give it so much texture and dimension. Just Fabulous.
Just love your delicate poppies, Leslie - so perfect with the left side cut out! Thanks for sharing at NBUS!! Linda W. May Guest Designer
You and your creations have been so inspiring to me. I have been trying to use up my NBUS stamps and digs too. You are so amazing and i love this simple design.
Maybe I need to take a hint from you on using NBUS, Leslie! Your cards from Rubbernecker make me want to add to that NBUS box! What a beautiful use of these poppies! Love the coloring, the out of the box cutting and the embossing! Fabulous job, my friend!
I have some little yellow poppies just in bloom like those on your card, well not the same colour. Beautifully done and the little piece of ribbon and twine are the perfect touch!n
Leslie, I adore Poppies - I have quite a collection myself! LOve that you've colored them orange - WOW how beautiful!
Your embossed background is delightful, but your sweet little gingham ribbon is totally the cherry on top of this beautiful card!

Outside the box die cutting is always an eye catcher, isn't it? Looks lovely, Leslie! And yes, your tucked away bow is darling! Even after deleting 1/2 of my ribbon stash, I still have tons. It's a shame we didn't know about the upcoming postal changes at the time. It's a beautiful card, my friend! xx
That card is just SO beautiful and simple, Leslie - I love it!!
This is so pretty, love how the poppy spreads out and what a neat way to add a bow. I am going to try and remember that one. Lovely embossed background too. I often fall for the sales, I just don't seem to be able to resist a bargain! My stash has grown quite a bit recently because of that especially dies, I do love dies! xx
What a beautiful card. My husband loves poppies! Your coloring is so pretty. I love that embossing folder with the birds on it. I haven't used mine in years. I have to dust it off! I like the Rubbernecker stamps, so feel free to use some more. Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
Such a sweet use of the poppies. Beautiful as always
