Handmade With Love Tags ... Two Cards

NOTE:  A winner of the $20 Power Poppy gift voucher I shared on a previous post has been drawn, and will be announced on the Power Poppy Blog tomorrow, December 4th.

Back with a couple of cards I made with the Power Poppy digital set, Handmade With Love Tags.  Clearly these images are not limited to tags.

There are 8 different designs in this set, each image comes with and without text inside.  I've made 4 cards so far and a 5th is printed and waiting.  I only photographed my two favorites.  For this one I added a sentiment from another digital set:  Glittering Glass Santa.

Same layout on each, same designer paper pack (retired), Copic coloring.  Keeping it as quick as possible, but still taking time to play.  Do you believe I used ribbon?!

Christmas card total:  40

Okay!  I think this wraps up the Power Poppy Christmas Remix hop festivities here.  I'll be moving right along with the card making and maybe I'll be able to toss in a non-Christmas card now and then.  We'll see.  'Tis the busiest season of the year no matter how I try to pare it down.  Merry merry!

I am a huge fan as you know and I love both these cards! It is such a busy time of year but I think I just might be finished with my Christmas Cards! I'm almost afraid to say it out loud. I have really enjoyed watching yours and I just know your pile must be growing too!

Love the Power Poppy stamps but wish I used them more, life takes over and other designs take over so one day. These are just stunning.xx

Oh my Leslie, both these cards are so delightful to see early this morning. Love the rustic feel to both. And ribbon you say...funny you mentioned that because when I was off yesterday, I was looking at all the ribbon I have and said to myself, I haven't used any of this in a very long time. I always seem to reach for the silk ribbon and all the rest just gets left behind. New years resolution - use more ribbon! Sorry, okay back to your cards, as always I love what you create, no matter what the image you rock it! 40 Christmas cards - that is awesome! Have a Merry day Leslie!

I love this design layout, Leslie, with the column border on the left and the ribbon wrapped around the image panel! Your coloring is superb, especially on that old thermos filled with Christmas greenery!! Hugs, Darnell

ooh, Leslie! The detail on these two cards is amazing! How did you EVER get those tiny little places colored so perfectly? Don'tcha just love that old timey thermos? Those highlights in lyour berries, ornaments, and pine cone looks amazing! The folksy papers are also lovely with the cards. I especially like that you used the same sketch for both cards and they look completely different! Beautifully done! hugs, de

What a perfect example that you can use the same layout and have totally different looking cards. I love the papers you chose and the ribbon and twine just add that special touch.

These cards are so cute! I love the deer with all the ornaments on his antlers. I like the ribbon - great finishing touch especially with the little latch. Quite an impressive amount of cards!

Oh, Leslie, what an amazing pair of cards, the DSP complement each image beautifully.
And I love how you tied your ribbons on each card, the little buckle is just adorable.

You said, "Taking time to play." Yes! We need time to play amid all the busyness of the season. "...I used ribbon." Yes! I love those ribbons and the elements you combined together for these gorgeous cards! Even though you used the same layout , each one is unique and special in design. You know what? Every time you use digis I look them up. I'm hesitant to buy most because the amount of coloring overwhelms me. I think I could really love this tag set. Thank you, Leslie!

Both beautiful cards and images -love both the ribbons.
Used to take a flask like that when I went fishing with my Dad many years ago and I accidently broke it throwing a small rock at a wasp that had landed on it-a long forgotten memory!

Beautifully created cards and images!! You always have such an eye for the details, like the creative way you have used the ribbons and papers...love the deer one, but then again I love the thermos one, when I was a kid we had a red plaid one like that, brings back a few memories!!
