Hi there! It's been too long since my last post, but I'm here now and glad to be sharing a card in the Can You Handle the Pressure Challenge. I wouldn't have even thought to make this exact card if it hadn't been for their optional "fruit and/or veggies" prompt. How fun!
See the little cherries? Small, but mighty. All the dies, except the larger hearts, are Cottage Cutz. It occurred to me that they would work perfectly with my not-yet-used Vintage Tray embossing folder/die set from the Open Studio line of Memory Box.
This is a handy folder/die set as you can use the frame with or without the rest of the folder. In this case I used it all. I cut the frame first, then fit it into the folder and embossed. I embossed the white panel separately then put the two together. Make sense?
Coloring was done with Copics, including the polka dots on the dress.
I'll link up to Can You Handle the Pressure and to Darnell's NBUS Challenge #62 with my NBUS Vintage Tray.
Is anyone else having some wonky issues with Blogger? When I type a link it makes a duplicate phrase, and sometimes there is no response when I click to change the size of a photo. Also, I can't change the color of a font. Is it just me? I appreciate your response.
Thanks for stopping by today! We'll do this again soon.
Dies: Cottage Cutz Kitchen Chef, Sweet w/Shadow & Wishes w/Shadow (shadows not used), Paper Smooches Hearts Paper: Neenah Super Smooth white 110 lb & 80 lb Coloring: Copics Other: Memory Box Vintage Tray 3D embossing folder

Awwwwww...what a sweet, sweet card Leslie! I'm loving all the little sections to add your die cuts to, and the red/pink color combo is FABULOUS! I've been having a few blogger issues too, so it isn't just you! I've been trying to just roll with the flow, but somedays I just don't have the patience...grrrrr!! But anyway, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Love this card, the Apron looks like it's swinging with the music and I love the die cut/embossed backgrounds :)
So Pretty! I like these colors and the card design! Sorry for lack of visits but trying to de clutter and prep for our move in a few months time xx
Well you have done it again my friend. I'm in love with this card and I can almost smell a cherry pie! I love all the different elements and it is just perfect for the challenge. Not much going on here in the way of card making and I'm beginning to go into withdrawals!
So cute! Love your card.
This is so pretty and you've used the dies and folders so well. I don't know how you always find just the right things to go together.
Cute card Leslie. Have a great day

It is NOT YOU, Leslie! I've been struggling all week as I work ahead with my DT cards!
I adore your tray full of wonderful cooking utensils, cherries, and that adorable apron! SO cute!
=]
I love this card! Everything comes together so well! Love the colors. Great stamps and dies. Reminds me of the aprons my Nanny used to wear!
I just love your eye for design, Leslie. This is charming and cheery and flawless! I WANT that apron! And that frame folder/die set!
As for Blogger, I hope the goblins leave you alone soon. I haven't had those issues, but it does sometimes refuse to load a graphic, usually at night. Not sure if that's related. The person to ask is Loll; she's my go-to for Blogger issues.❤
Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
Oh, I'm in love with that pretty little polka dot apron! Fresh cherry time is fast approaching. My guy does love a good sour cherry pie! This is a darling card, Leslie. Blogger does do some wackadoodle stuff from time to time, hang in there!
Sweet is the right term for this card, Leslie! Not only are the cherries looking sweet but that polka-dot apron is awesome! What a great die-embossing set!
oh Leslie....this is so cute. But it is so detail-oriented, too. Beautiful use and design with those dainty diecuts. Beautiful colors, too.
Absolutely adorably cute, what a treasure this card is, the apron is the sweetest (I had my kitchen all done in cherries once, still have some of it)
so you have to know how much this sweet card appeals to me!! Super cute use of the Cottage Cutz dies and I never ordered from the latest sale, fault of my phone as it quit working and I couldn't get my security code to pay, dang phone LOL!!
Oh my gosh, this is just so stinkin' CUTE!! I love all your little die cut elements, and the way you used them is perfect. That little apron, though!!! I can't stand how adorable this whole card is, including the little cherries!! Lots of fabulous work here, and great take on the challenge. Thanks so much for playing along with us over at Can You Handle the Pressure, I hope we see you back again soon.

Leslie, this is such an adorable card. Loving those cherries and that apron is so so cute. I haven't had any issues lately...but I haven't been on alot. HOpe I am not jinxing it. lol.
A very cool card with awesome dies!! I sometimes have problems with centering or otherwise justifying my text if I move the photos or make one of them small and try to put it beside my text.
Your card is super cute Leslie. I think the cherries are swell!!! I've been having the exact same issues with blogger when trying to make a link, or I get the message "null". What's that mean?? Technology when it doesn't do what it's supposed to do makes life very frustrating. A little paper therapy always helps. Hope you have a great weekend!
This card is a feast for the eyes and so warms my heart, Leslie! Loved the red and pink right away and the polka-dotted apron has me swooning! Looks like it's doing a happy dance. What a neat way to use that Vintage Tray!
That is a neat combo background set, I love how the cherries are even on the apron, so sweet ;)
Sorry I am so late to this one, but once I saw it I had to stop. That die/embossing folder set sounds interesting with lots of possibilities. You have made it work really well here. I do love that apron and those cherries xx
Oh my! Loving all the details...especially those little cherries! Super cute layout too. You have the best dies! 💕Sue K
How darling is this? That apron makes me smile! I love all the little sections of eye candy. Love the details! Another over the top beautiful card! :) Cynthia
