Hello there! I'm glad you stopped by to start a new week with me. Or maybe you're here at the end of the week. At any rate it's good to see you.
I continue in my effort to empty out my basketsful of not-yet-used everything. I know, it's never going to happen, but I can try. Today's makes are with the Pinkfresh Lemons and Blueberries stamp set with matching dies. It's not brand new and it's been in my basket for a while (hanging my head). I think the stamps are so pretty! As you can see I made two cards.
The first has the lemons and blueberries arranged on a favorite old Spellbinders die which I've used only a handful of times. It's the most gorgeous die with twining vines and a little bit of lattice. I sponged the edges, then smooshed with Versamark ink and clear embossed. Layered once for dimension. I traced and cut a center layer, added a sentiment from the Lemons and Blueberries set, an extra die cut embellishment, and a few gold gems. Maybe a bit busy but I like it.
The next card is simpler, using the wreath and some mixed and matched sentiments from my stash. Gold elastic cord for a bow, and more of the gold gems. I think you can see the texture of the card base. I embossed both card bases with the SU Subtle 3D embossing folder, but the photo didn't pick it up on the white card.
Well, that was fun! I used all the stamps (more on the insides) and now the set is tucked away in a drawer. There is so much to play with in my room, new and old. I could never run out of crafty joy.
Of course, I'm heading to the party at Darnell's NBUS Challenge #48 where we share our "never before used schtuff".
Thanks for your time! I hope I'll be back soon but it looks like a busy week. We'll see how it goes. Take care!

Oh these are beautiful, Leslie.
ooooooh! Thanks for the tip on the SB die! It's in my stash, too, and has only been used ONCE! I love how you smooshed and embossed! DEFINITELY casing that design tip for that die, and others. Your fun fun cards, so prettily colored, are also elegant! Beautifully done, and thank you so much for sharing your tips in each post!

They are both gorgeous, Leslie! When I saw the title of your post, it reminded me of a recipe I recently saw ....lemon and blueberry loaf.
The colors are beautiful, and your arrangements are delightful.
Your two cards are so fresh and pretty, Leslie! The images are wonderful for springtime and you've showcased them perfectly! Way to go using your schtuff ~ lift up that head with pride! And thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
Crafty Joy, indeed! I love these sweet lemons and the soft violet together, they are so elegant! Topped off with ample white space and such pretty leaves, oh my! It's beautiful and screams spring! So glad these stamps came to be next in the lineup.
How wonderful that you are working through your basket and have been able to put something else away. Both these cards are gorgeous. I love how you have added the shine, just excellent. They have definitely made me smile xx
Absolutely beautiful!
Oh they are gorgeous, I love your pretty coloring along with the gold embossing, such a lovely combo. I too have that die and you used it so well with your flowers and lemons, makes me want to get it out and use it, great inspiration!
I do love wreaths too and that is for sure a beauty!!
Both of these wreaths are so pretty, Leslie! Love the coloring and that gorgeous die cut in the background on the first card! The Amethyst background is so pretty with the colors in the second wreath! Two fantastic sentiments too!
Leslie, I think of your basket as easy access shopping, and BONUS it's all paid for already!
I love your beautiful cards - and I'm a Big Fan of blueberry and lemon scones.

First I have to say what a gorgeous stamp and die set. I can see why you purchased it and so happy to see you finally used it. I hang my head in shame as I have so many I have never used too but that will be a new years resolution for another year. The die cuts, colors and layout is fantastic on both cards.
I LOVE them both! That wreath is gorgeous.
Such beautiful cards - so crisp and clean. I especially like the wreath card. I love that you are going through your basket of not yet used items. Gives me hope that I can do that as well.
