Hello and welcome! I'm happy to be back with another collection of cards to share. When I look at all the cards I haven't posted yet it surprises me that I've actually done that much crafting. Today's cards are the most recently finished. The plan was to get ahead on Valentines for next year so I pulled out an old and well loved Stampin' Up set called Send a Celebration. Anyone remember it?
I've loved this stamp set enough to keep it over many years and many purges. It seemed to me it deserved another run before I put it away again. I turned this into a self challenge: Use all three image stamps and the same DCWV Baby Girl paper pad for each card, and color all with the same Copic markers (mostly) to coordinate with the paper.
The umbrella stamp in the next card has been used in the past for "under the weather" and baby showers, but today it's a spring greeting. April showers bring May flowers!
The last card gave me the most trouble as I wanted it to look like a celebration, but was running out of celebratory-looking papers from this pad of sweet baby papers. The embossing folder helped. I cut a window to frame the image, added some die cut stars and little bits of extra sparkle and shimmer. The paper, itself, has sparkles, too.
My Valentine card is representing in the Snippets Playground Challenge #422. Each of my cards are all about snippets -- I stamped on scraps of Neenah white and colored with Copics, then designed with scraps of baby-themed designer paper (use it or lose it). I keep the smallest pieces of everything because you never know when you might need to punch a few small hearts, such as those on my Valentine card.
I'll be back next week and I hope you'll come visit again. Be happy!

Hi Leslie
What a delightful trio of colourful cards spreading love and happiness. Plus you got to use up quite a few snippets. Well done that woman!
After all that effort, I expect you're a bit worn out. Why not climb the rope ladder to the Playground Treehouse and find a comfy seat? I'll bring you a nice cup of coffee (or tea if you prefer) with a slice of cake! xxx
I don't remember it, but I sure love it, Leslie, and I love how you have taken the images and modernized them with each one of your beautiful spring designs! What a breath of fresh air! Hugs, Darnell
lovely cards. Good plan. Since I only need 1 Valentine's card no need to pre-plan... BIG GRIN. Have a great day
These are just gorgeous, I don't remember this stamp, the papers are just perfect for spring, love the colors you used for coloring, in the first I love that framing and the 3 hearts, neat touch.
Love your layering in each card, like the banner flags in the first the tags in the second and Stars in the last. I just love the embossing folder you used on the second one and the pretty scalloped border.
On the 3rd with your embossing, fun papers and sparkles around the candles it looks very much like a fun birthday card, great way to challenge yourself and make 3 fabulous cards!
Congratulations Leslie, you did a fabulous job with your self imposed parameters. Each card is sweet, whimsical and beautifully colored.
Your cards are always a delight and make me smile without fail... Sorry I haven't visited - typing is awkward but I'm perservering with creating both cards and sewing as best I can... Thank you for your kind wishes too my friend... I hope you and Rich are doing well
ALL three are lovely pretty Spring colors that just have to make you happy. I honestly don't remember this set but certainly understand why you had to keep it! A beautiful array of cards! I sent you an email about that I mailed out your prize, hoping it arrives today, mail sure seems to take longer and longer!!
What a great group of cards! I'm so glad you kept this stamp set. I'm glad someone else saves all the little scraps of paper as well. I especially like your celebrate card with those cute candles. We are bundling up again with a winter storm on its way so maybe if we don't lose our power I will get some crafting done. Have a great weekend. Keep well and safe!
I haven't done a self challenge in a long time. this was a really good one. Each card looks so different, but fun. Well done!!!
Aaahhh, Three sweet, colorful and creative cards using the same stamp set and pretty paper, Leslie. I do remember the stamp set, that you have used over the years. I actually posted a CCC card today using an old SU Christmas stamp set...2007 is the date on the wood mounted stamps:-) Like you, I have done lots of purging over the years and now a found a more CAS design for this wonderful stamp:-) I Loved every detail on all 3 of your cards, TFS my friend. Love and Hugs...it was 27 this a.m. and now happy the sun is out and it is warming up..it is 44 now:-) Love and Hugs...Nancy
Hi Leslie,
So glad to see those old stamps come out of mothballs. You give me inspiration to pull these old ones out. I used to use them all of the time and have forgotten them in my stash of stamps. Thank you !
Looking good, great cardc and beautiful design.
Keep Safe ♥
Love all 3 of your cards! I don't remember that set but you've managed to make it so versatile. I save mostly my larger scraps and they do come in handy. Thanks for sharing.
I seem to be late again and I'm sorry. I am enjoying all three of your cards and think the layers on each just really makes it interesting! Lovely colors and I love how you use your stash!
A girl after my own heart - 'one never knows' is my motto, Leslie!!
Gosh all three cards are adorable! What a sweet set - I especially love this last one with the candles but every bit of sweetness coming from those envelopes is wonderful. Don't ever let it go, Leslie!
Really fun embossing, too!

Oh yes - I remember that set. I still have it, too. :-) I still have plenty of that same DCWV matstack, too. Your cards are all so awesome, Leslie - I love what you did with your supplies and the way you colored the images.
Oh, yes I remember! I still have that set too! I especially love the candles envelope. You made a classic seem new and fresh! How fun to see this! :)
A beautiful set of cards. I believe I still have that stamp set. It's an oldie, but a goodie. I love all your cards and the coloring is soft, but so pretty. Great designs.
You've nailed the challenge you set yourself with these three beauties Leslie x. Great design layouts too x.
What a wonderful, cheerful collection of cards, my friend! Beautiful coloring and use of the whole set! Plus you used some of that beautiful patterned paper!
well that is a good surprise when you look back and what you haven't posted but created. These are darling and look at that older set being used, nicely done. I like the textures and simplicity of these Leslie. Enjoy the sunshine today as we have 19 degrees one of the last days of our cold snap.
These are so fresh and absolutely lovely! A great set of cards to make a few hearts sing. Delighted to see you in the Snippets Playground as well.
Hugs
Di xx
