Bowl of Beauty

Happy Friday!  A little more watercoloring today.  Sigh... this is the ever so lovely digital Power Poppy Bowl of Beauty with a sentiment from the clear stamp version, Strong and Beautiful.  Not shy about the colors today!  I used my Tombow markers on Arches 140 lb hot press paper.

One thing about the Tombows is that I can get some very rich, vibrant color with them.  Sometimes that's exactly what I want, and the middle of winter is the best time for it!

It didn't even take too long, considering I spent very little time on the card design.  Honestly, that can take longer than the coloring, but when the image fills the card front, well...  my job is done!

Wishing you a happy weekend!

Breath taking!!! I know I tell you this always, but your coloring is AMAZING and I don't care what medium you use to color, it is always, always perfection!! So nice to see something so colorful today as it is a wet/gloomy day here. I love the bright and pretty colors you have used.
As for the ribbons on my cards, I am trying to make my cards more simpler as I just mailed a birthday card that didn't even have that much on it and it was $4.06 to mail it...wowzers!!

Wow! What a stunning delight. The colors are fabulous and so vibrant. Sure to perk up someone's day. It does not need anything to add to it. I also want to say that I always like the backgrounds that you use to show case your cards. Are those real flowers?

Leslie, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love when you colour, as you always bring your image to life. Love the vibrant colours you achieved with the tombows (I really should pull mine out and play)and I love the washy background around your image. Lovely to see such a bright cheery card today, brightens up my day, as it has been raining here since 5:30 this morning. Another dull and dreary day, although I'll take the rain over the snow anyday! Have a wonderful weekend!

Wow, that is just outstanding!! It doesn't even look like watercoloring, you were able to get such wonderful details in the flowers and leaves, like how you colored the background too!
