Spring Border

Happy Friday, friends!  I have some flowers to share today.  Yes, I've been a busy card maker, but you know I love it, especially when it comes to coloring.  There's just something about watching the image develop.  I used Copics for this one.  The stamp is Power Poppy's recently released digital Spring Border One.

This particular flower border can also be found in the Natural Beauties clear stamp set, but I was able to print it slightly larger as a digi.  Rather than try to tell you all about the digi set, I'll just show you:

It's nice that it comes with individual flower images in case you don't feel like coloring a whole border.  Three very useful sentiments, too.  I colored the no line version and made this into a cheery "feel better" card.

By the way, there's a Spring Border Two, also, and I'm looking forward to coloring an image I printed from that set.  Hope it turns out!  See you again soon!

What a delightful 'springy' card you are sharing today. A great way to start my day! Leslie, as always you do magical work with your copics. I've clicked on the picture to see more details. Your leaves look like velvet, flowers look so real and your ground cover - awesome! Oh and then your stitching, always perfectly stitched. I bought both spring borders but haven't had a chance to print them out yet, maybe this weekend. Have a wonderful weekend Leslie!

I agree with all said above...but WOW Leslie you certainly have rocked this one. Your coloring is always amazing, always so 'spot on'! I saw this set in my 'mailbox' and was so tempted to order it, now I am wishing I had, though it would never be as gorgeous as yours. I needed this beautiful breath of Spring air this morning as it is still cold out...but things will warm up soon...hopefully!!

Springy and beautiful Leslie. The stitching is awesome and I do like the way you shadow behind the flowers. Something I need to learn how to do. Your Copic coloring is awesome, what are you talking about. Spring border two is fun to color as well.

Absolutely gorgeous, Love your coloring, I can't remember what it is called but the dot method looks great especially for the dirt. Every detail on the flowers and leaves is just beautiful. I was trying to decide if I wanted to buy them while they were offered but I forgot. I could never do it justice like you have.

Once again, I am behind with my comments on your blog! Seems I'm behind on all sorts of things, and I don't really have any excuse. I showed this post and the Christmas card post of yours to my husband, to show him how amazing your cards are and how beautifully you color. This Power Poppy digi set turns into the most colorful image when you are finished. It's truly a happy, "springy" floral image. As always, you finish your cards in beautiful ways, too: the stitching and that tiny stitched heart.
