Watercolored Spring Star Flowers

Hello on a Friday, friends!  I'm wrapping up the week with some soft and simple watercoloring of the Star Flowers from Power Poppy's Spring Border Two digital set.  I used Tombow markers and the no-line print, which is actually a very visible gray print.  It's surprising how it completely disappeared.

An easy layout.  Just some stitching and a peeking edge of ancient designer paper.  A few sequins.  Gosh, when a card is this simple there's not a whole lot to say about it, is there?  I should try this more often.  Now that the weather is warming up I'll need to streamline my stamping.  We've had some unbelievably beautiful days this week.  Spring arrived right on time!  Have a wonderful weekend!

What a gorgeous card to end the week. Your watercolouring is beautiful, love the shades of blues/violets and how you did the shading around with the pretty green. The sentiment sits well with me today- to find strength to continue on as after all the turmoil of 100 job loses we found out late yesterday that our boss has been transferred. We are all devastated, she was an amazing boss! So with that said off to work to finish my week, last day with our old boss, someone new on Monday! Thanks for sharing today Leslie, so glad you are getting 'spring' weather, it's starting to warm here a bit, it can only get better. Enjoy your weather and weekend!

Leslie, this is so beautiful. I love the soft coloring you did on this and it looks great without the stark black outlines. It's warm here today - up to 77. I hope that it is the start of our Spring also and we don't have any more cold days.

Hi, Leslie! You may say your card is simple, but I say it is a glorious masterpiece of Love! Wow! The layout is fabulous with the 3 sided blue border, and your stitching is impeccably straight! I have to make mine deliberately crooked because no way I'm able to do anything straight these days! Your colors and technique are exquisitely applied! I especially like the tiniest, thinnest of lines around your "no edge" petals, and the delicate pastels on the interior portions. The softness is wonderful - I can smell these delightful beauties clear across the country! Leslie, I love everything about this card! hugs, de
