Monday Fun Day: EGG-citing Easter

Hello there!  Ready for another week to whiz by in a heartbeat?  Let's slow it down for a minute and enjoy our Monday.  It seems like a good day for something cute, fun, whimsical, lighthearted... so I'm going to designate Mondays as a fun day.  Flowerful Friday, Monday Fun Day.  Guess I'll do Whatever Wednesday for the in betweens.  I may miss a day or two when the stamping runs out, but for now it will give me some focus and keep me moving along.

I didn't think I was going to get any Easter cards made, but then I remembered it's one of the reasons I bought this So EGG-citing stamp set.  Birthday, Easter, baby... there's a sentiment for each and more, so I'm good for a while as long as I don't send egg cartons to the same person over and over again.  In fact, I slipped a Post-It Note in with the stamp set so I can list the names of who I send egg cards to.

I think the card is pretty self-explanatory:  A stitched circle frame with a stitched circle patterned paper inset, grass die, Copic coloring.  Very simple and not much time spent on coloring.  Did I mention it was fun?  Yep, it was fun!  See you again on Wednesday!

Stamps:  Your Next Stamp "So EGG-Citing"  Paper:  Neenah 110 lb white, PTI Lemon Tart, Memory Box Granny Smith, Echo Park Happy Summer designer paper  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics for coloring  Accessories:  Memory Box Stitched Scalloped Circles and Stitched Circle Layers, Impression Obsession Grass Border

It's adorable, Leslie! I love that you filled the center of the circle with patterned paper. And I do love the egg carton filled with cuteness.

I am DEFINITELY in love with your So EGG-citing stamp set! Cute as can be, and the little skyline inside a circle? GENIUS! Such a sweet card, Leslie. I would never have thought of creating a scene like this one, and it is cute and pretty all the way! Are you having fun setting up the fabulous backdrops for your creations? Hope so, because I am immensely enjoying your efforts. Even your hatched Easter Chicky wants to jump on board your colorful train! So is that a new Easter decoration, or does it date way back? Happy Monday to you! xx

Even there is snow in the shady areas outside, it's in the 50s and we wanted to get the 1st treatment on the yard. So I've been outside on my tractor LOVING the sunshine!! YAY!! (calling for rain/snow tomorrow, lol) But it's sunshine today and I'm enjoying it!!

Gosh, this is so adorable! The chick with the bunny ears is so sweet. Great design Leslie. You have such a great eye in using your dies! I can see you using this for all those other occasions, a very versatile set. Good idea to keep names of who you sent the egg cards to, I started to do that with Christmas cards. Memory is a wonderful thing when it works! So looking forward to Wednesday's post. Sorry I'm a bit behind commenting on this one. I'm glad you had fun making this card, it makes me smile!

Goodness this is the cutest stamp set and love that it can be used year round and your staging is so cute, what a cute bunny train. I didn't even get my Easter out this year, but have a few bunnies around and bought a few new things...I have been cleaning out walk in closets and have made quite a mess so it put me behind on Easter but am spring decorating instead, my dining room table is loaded with decor I am sorting thru and wouldn't you know it, I had drop in company with all this mess..ugh! Anyhow an adorable card!!

This is just as much fun as the first card you posted with it. In fact, after I saw that first post, I immediately went online and got this stamp set and the dies to match. Haven't made any Easter cards yet, but I plan to do so Saturday, just in time to bring some to my friends house, where we've been invited to Easter dinner. This is SUCH a cute set; I especially like the little chick that you can put in the egg carton upside down. Can't wait. Happy Easter to you, Rich and Wally and Lulu. Hugs,.. XO
