Welcome back!
Today I have another die from the use-next basket -- the happy birthday sentiment die. I found it in a Sizzix sale so it's probably already retro, but it's new to me and I love it a lot!
The rest of the dies that came out to play have varying degrees of age on them. You know I've been plugging away at my die organizing project, and when I did the flowers category these little Poppystamps Flower Stack cuties caught my eye. I brought in the bird and balloon for extra color and life, and it's all arranged on layered circles and a frame from my spare parts. Just fun!
As for the die organizing/consolidating/space saving project... it requires a lot of figuring and finagling, and I can only do so much before I have to walk away from it for a while... and then I play with my discoveries. It's as though they're brand new. I'm hopelessly addicted.
I'll be sharing in the following challenges:
The Neglected Stuff Challenge -- My neglected stuff is the Poppystamps Flower Stack.
Word Power June Challenge -- Sentiment as focal point
I appreciate your time and am glad you could visit today. Stay safe and well and keep on crafting!
Dies: Sizzix Happy Birthday to You, Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers and Stitched Scalloped Circles, Poppystamps Flower Stack, Cottage Cutz Love Letters (bird), Impression Obsession Balloons, Spellbinders Labels Twenty

My hat off to you for organizing your supplies. It is no small job for sure and often overwhelming. The descroveries that you make as you are doing that job can be so rewarding. Just look at the card you created with a find. I love the bright colors and that retro die. I am inspired by it all. Hugs. BTW, I have that embossing folder that everyone is bring back now. I could emboss some of them and sent them to you. What do you say?
I love this stacked label with the pretty birthday script! And this little bird, whimsical flowers and balloon bring in colorful fun!
Such a cheerful card, Leslie! The retro sentiment and those cute Flower Stack blooms make a perfect combo. Love the bright pops of color!
When you finish organizing, maybe you'd like to come help me organize and purge in my craft room? I started in January and got a tiny bit done, but I find I didn't purge as much as I should have as I still love a lot of the stamps and dies I have and MIGHT use them again some day. Maybe. I'm hopeless, but I sure am glad for you Leslie as you are coming up with some awesome cards using older treasures! This birthday card is wonderful AND fun and so colorful...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
Yes, certainly a fun card. Continued good luck with your organizing. I love going through my stuff and I always find "new" things to play with.
Layers of fun for those birthday wishes, Leslie! This is cute!
Oh, you have the BEST dies, Leslie! And the way you combine them is fabulous. The colors just pop and so does that pretty scripted sentiment. Whether old or new stuff, I love it when you play!
OMG ... love that sentiment die and you've showcased it perfectly (imagine that lol). Love the sweet little flowers and of course that precious little birdie! Beautifully done my friend! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Neglected Stuff & Word Power challenges! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
