Hello crafty friends! It's time for another Double D Challenge and our theme today is "Tropical". The inspiration board gives us so many fabulous places to start. Check it out:

I did handsprings when I saw the fish on the board as I have lots to choose from and I love them all. For the tropical theme I chose my Memory Box Ocean Fish 3D embossing folder with matching dies and stencils, along with the MB Underwater 3D embossing folder. What fun!
I brushed SU Pool Party ink on the Underwater background. I was thinking I grabbed Pool Party sandable cardstock for the base but, oops, I realized later this is Soft Sky instead. No matter, I carried on with all my different blues.
I don't do a lot of stenciling, but these fish are actually pretty fun. I can see how a person could get hooked on stenciling. There are so many avenues and possibilities in this craft!

Oh my goodness ... your card is amazing (as always) and those fishies are perfect in their coloring! I can honestly say I have NO underwater embossing folders (hmmm have to remedy that lol ... thanks enabler). Don't hesitate to add this beauty to our Stencil Fun challenge. (theme there is optional ... so long as you use a stencil) ... our Can You Handle the Pressure embossing folder challenge works for this beauty too! Well done my friend ... I feel like I just visited a tropical island.

These are great tropical fishes and they remind me of our visit to the Great Barrier Reef!

These are gorgeous. They look like real tropical fish. I'm always amazed by the beautiful creatures that live under the water that we don't see.

OMGosh, this is the best tropical card and I have never seen the folder, dies, or stencil and it is amazing!! Oh, what a fun card, Leslie! I think stenciling is awesome! I just got my new kit from Gina K and there are plenty new stencils for me to play with. So many options, so little time! :-) Love the fishies and the background.
Well this is a tropical delight! Love the brightly colored fish and they are stenciled? Just amazing! The embossed underwater EF is so cool too. MB has the best 3 part sets, don't they?
