Double D Challenge: Christmas Wrappings

Hello, friends!  Thanksgiving is over and our sights turn to Christmas.  In my home it's more low-key these days, but the spirit and the young-at-heart delight is still evident.  At Double D we're enjoying "Christmas Wrappings" of all kinds -- bows, ribbons, tags, packages.  Even designer paper can become Christmas wrappings for our challenge.  Just have fun with it!

Creative winners are by team vote, and there's a fabulous prize for a random winner:

I went with an oldie but goodie die for this one.  It's an out of business Die-namites die called Hanging Presents.  It couldn't be easier and I suppose that's why I've used it many times over the years.

Cut in gold and hung on Christmas plaid, it makes for a festive card with little effort.  I placed the pop out pieces below each present with a couple more stars down by the sentiment.  I could have made a bunch of these, but I'm terrible about producing multiples... it just doesn't happen.

Do pop over and visit the team at our Christmas Wrappings Double D Challenge.  You'll love the samples and I hope you'll enjoy this theme as much as I did!

Happy holidays!

This is so cute and so simple. I like to do multiples, but can only do no more than five.

Leslie, every one of us needs a 'tried and true' die like this one - it's always perfect! [Unlike actually choosing presents... I gave up on that long ago!]
A fun card and wonderful inspiration!

It is always nice to get out and old favourite and make a simple card. Sometimes that is all that is needed and I really like this one. The little heart and stars are the perfect finishing touch xx

This dye makes a lovely clean and simple card and I can see how you would want to mass produce it. But I'm with you and my mass producing means making two at a time and probably no more than that. I love your Plaid with the gold and the simple merry Christmas with the additional gold hearts and stars. Happy Holidays

Hi, Leslie! You have such a way of producing sweet, beautiful, elegant cards using fun elements that bring out the love oozing from your craft room! I have that die, and never thought of using it with the mirror cardstock. It's a darling die because the presents are busy in dancing! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas season, Leslie. Thank you for your friendship! love, de
