Hi friends! Do you love a fall wreath? I sure do, and that's our challenge beginning today at Double D!
Have a look at the beautiful inspiration board and a prize for a random winner:
The team has the difficult job of choosing creative winners. You'll find more information on the Double D Challenge blog.
For today's card I cut a Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Wreaths and decorated it with parts from the Cottage Cutz Fall Centerpiece. I pulled a made-ahead embossed card base from my drawer o' card bases, added a strip of designer paper from The Vast Hoard, and an ancient Whipper Snapper sentiment. Good to go!
All the coloring is ink blending with brushes, and I added Cinnamon Stickles to the flower centers.
I'm keeping it brief today as I'm running along to the next project. Busy, busy!
I hope you'll find time to play along with us at Double D. The team has some beauties to share with you, and I would love to see a gallery filled with fall wreaths!
Take care, and have a happy day!

I like the embossing and that you added some extra designpaper. And you decorated your wreath with so many nice diecut items!

Oh my friend, this is GORGEOUS!! From that beautiful white embossed background to that STRIKING sunflower taking center stage, this is perfection on paper! Screams Fall ... love it!
This fall twig wreath is gorgeous, Leslie! The colors on this are so rich and vibrant. Just stunning with the strip of design paper and crisp white background.
Lovely Leslie. Very fallish.
LOVE everything about this card Leslie! So many beautiful details in your die cut foliage...even a sweet little pumpkin! Loving the embossed background and the strip of dsp too...it's all just perfect together my friend!! Hugs. :0)
I do enjoy it when a car just comes together like yours seem to. Just using ready made backgrounds and adding die cuts you made a fabulous card for this challenge. It has lots of color and texture and I love the flowers instead of just leaves.
Leslie, I have a very simple wreath on my front door made of 'faux' Bittersweet, but I love it just the same! You really did a great job of creating a gorgeous focal bouquet for yours and it looks so good with your pretty DSP!

That is just beautiful, I love that you even added a little pumpkin in there with it, and pretty touch with the stickles. Love that embossing folder with it and the leaf border with it goes so well with the wreath!
