Hi all! I'm finally back with my Double D teamies just in time for Diane's fun Christmas Animals Challenge. Check out the cute inspiration board:
My Fox & Bird is a Cottage Cutz die from one of their not-to-be-denied sales. I've got a sizeable pile of CC dies still waiting for their first time use. They have their own bin now, sheesh.
Additional dies, both CC and other, came together for Christmas in the woodlands. At the time of this make I was still trying to get my card making legs under me, a bit shaky after a lengthy hiatus. Lots of ink was rubbed on for coloring. Copics for the smallest parts. The Fox & Bird look like Christmas animals to me, but I'm sure they'd be cute on a birthday card, too.
Have a look below at the prize a random player could win. Just happens to be a Cottage Cutz critter.
The team will vote for creative favorites. Maybe yours? Let's find out. Come see all the super cute team samples on the Double D blog and then share your own creation. I can't wait to see!
Have a happy day!

You do make a lot of cute cards my friend. I love the little fox on this one. I seem to be spinning my wheels here but Christmas is coming anyway! Hope you have a great rest of the week.
Adorably cute winter scene and this is one of my favorite cottage cutz dies, who wouldn't love a fox with a scarf and a birdie along for the ride! Just the cutest!! I did hit the CC black Friday sale and have a ton of new ones to use, just couldn't resist those 85% off prices, sigh!!
Oh, forgot to add, welcome back too, we sure missed you!!
Oh what a cute scene you have created with this woodland pair! Well done my friend and it's SO GOOD to have you back in the fold! HUGS
cute card. Bah Humbug... Have a great day BIG GRIN
Oh your Fox is fabulous! We have a few red ones running around here from time to time, love to see their pretty fur! Those layered trees are really beautiful too and complete the scene, along with that sweet little bluebird too! Merry Merry!
It may seem like a long time that you have not crafted, but you still have it my dear! Your cunning fox and that bird as his companion is delightful. Your have created a neat scene with those trees.
Made me smile. A perfect Winter day when cute fox entertain cute birds! Such a festive, fun card for a fun challenge! I have the same CC die problem. lol It’s a good problem though! I love my bins and piles! 😂
Such a cute card. Your Christmas animals are adorable, and I love the background d/p that you used. I'm helping a couple first-time card makers to make a couple Christmas cards this Saturday. Really looking forward to it. I don't usually have anyone to stamp with.
I adore your handsome fox and his tiny little gift-bearing friend, Leslie!
I also love seeing you back in the card-making saddle again!

Thanks for your sweet comment Leslie, you too make cards to the fullest extent and this is just gorgeous xx
Beautiful colouring of your fox and the whole scene looks amazing ♥
I love your cute critter card…they speak Christmas to me…you do amazing scenes with these dies, Leslie!! It’s probably your love for animals that makes them come alive with personality. I’m so glad you have Sophie now and am kind of curious how you’re able to get anything accomplished. I recall puppyhood as being a little like toddlerhood. Lots of chasing and corralling going on. Wishing you the best Christmas season enjoying all of your blessings.
Adorable winter scene with the sly fox! :) You always make the most of your die-cuts, bringing them to life with shading. So great to have you back at Double D, my friend! xx
Cute little critters for sure!! And your card is wonderful.
Those two are too cute, I love the tiny package the bird has, like the fun trees to go with them and that paper with the pine cone border is a great touch!!
What a cute little fox! He's all dressed up with his scarf and his little friend! I love the winter scene you created for them. Have a great weekend.
I'm so glad to see you back with your challenge team, Leslie! Christmas critters are fun and your fox is adorable! I love the woodland scene, the tree dies are cute too!
How cute is this foxy looking guy? His friend comes bearing gifts. The background on this is amazing. Lots of dimension in this fun holiday scene.
How sweet is this card? No matter what the challenge is Leslie, you always come through with the most amazing cards! Love the fox with the little bird, and that little present, just so sweet, and the pinecone paper is so pretty. Lovely holiday card!
What a sweet card. Lots of die cuts - labor intensive - and they all work beautifully together. That little fox with the bird on it's back is so stinkin' cute. LOVE it!!!
So cute! A very sweet holiday card!
This card is amazing! - I was so excited when I opened my mail from you and this was in the envelope. It is totally adorable.
This is adorable Leslie! I have this die set as well and haven't used it for quite some time. I'll have to pull it out for next years cards. The Christmas scene you've built is just as sweet as can be!
