More Pinkfresh Poinsettias

Hi there!  I'm happy to be back with craftiness today.  Card making hasn't been happening by leaps and bounds, but I do have two cards I made in September.  I still had a bunch of Pinkfresh Poinsettia pieces I'd stamped and hand cut so I decided to turn them into cards.

Once again, the pictures don't do them justice.  There's a lot of texture, dimension, gold embossing, and pretty colors.  I plumped up the wreath with some extra pieces, and nestled in a Cottage Cutz bird and sentiment.

The sentiment was cut from a background I'd made on glossy paper.  A small die cut rectangle supports it over the dimension of the wreath.

Coloring on both cards is with Copics.  The second card has quite a few Poinsettia pieces put together as a corner treatment with Joy taking up some white space.  Three tiny gold pearls on this one.

That's it, folks.  I'm so woefully behind in my Christmas card production I'm worried I'll have to skip fall altogether.  What will be will be.  Enjoy your day!

Stamps:  Pinkfresh Poinsettia  Paper:  Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth Solar White, other scraps  Ink:  Versamark  Coloring:  Copics  Dies:  Spellbinders A2 Devine Eleoquence and Labels Twenty-Eight, Cottage Cutz Greetings and Bird w/Bluebells, SU Joy (retired)  Other:  Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder, gold pearls, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

*What a Stellar card, Ms. Leslie, for your return! These hand cut and colored flowers, their marriage to one of the top ten die-cuts of all time, and the pure perfection that signals your work is most welcome.
Thank you for again lighting a beautiful place to dream in our day.

Oh Leslie...I can never get over how detailed and "involved" your cards are! I've said before they are really works of art. This card is no different. So lovely.

Leslie, I can't get over how clean you die cuts are - which machine do you use?

These are both so pretty with such a lot of detail. If the pictures don't do them justice then they must be so special in real life. Wonderful gold embossing and what a good idea to use glossy paper for the sentiment xx

Two pretty Christmas cards, Leslie! I love the beautiful coloring and gold highlights. Popping up the sentiment and adding the sweet bird makes the first card extra fantastic and the corner arrangement on the second card is very joyful. I imagine you don't get a lot of crafty time with a baby in the house, but I'm pretty sure you are having fun!

Oh these are lovely, there is just something about a bird in a wreath that I love and this one is a cutie, love the bright colors and pretty framing with the die cuts on the first.
You did a lovely job with the swag in the corner on the second, very pretty arranging of it all and love the style of that big JOY!

Wow, two stunning cards Leslie! Love the eleoquence die, frames both cards wonderfully. Love the bird you added to your wreath (you know me and birds!).
Your designs on both are so elegant, especially your 2nd card, love how you added the florals to the top left and kept the open space below. Beautiful colouring as always. Thanks for sharing.
