Halloween Cat Trio

Hi!  I have a fun card today.  I got the idea for the cats from a card on Pinterest, but my card design is different.  When I clicked the Pinterest pic it didn't go anywhere so I can't give credit, but maybe you can see the pin here.  Not sure if that will work for you.  I just love them!

It's plain to see the cats are simply flag die cuts -- I used Sue Wilson Pierced Flags, a group of 3 different sizes.  Googly eyes, brads for noses, dental floss for whiskers.  The white circle separates them from the background and gives the suggestion of a moon.  The background is orange ink brushed through a Visible Image Fibres stencil.  First orange, then a little black swiped down from the top.  It looks like there's a fire in the background, yikes.

I'm playing in two challenges today, as listed and pictured below.  Two Old Bats is celebrating its anniversary this month so there are prizes.  Just sayin'.

I hope you're enjoying a nice autumn where you are.  We were 100 degrees on our south deck yesterday and today we're wearing jackets.  That's fall for you.  We're safe and dry and we have our home, and not everyone can say that right now.  I'm reminding myself how fortunate I am.  Thank you for coming to visit.

Stamps:  Hero Arts Halloween Message  Paper:  Black, Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth Solar White  Ink:  SU Only Orange, Pumpkin Patch Spectrum pad, Memento Tuxedo Black  Other:  Googly eyes, brads, dental floss, Visible Image Fibres stencil, Sue Wilson Pierced Flags, Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers, miscellaneous rectangle die for sentiment, foam mounting tape

Oh, so super-cute, Leslie!! Wow, 100 degrees in October!! We are going to be close to 80 today, which is quite amazing for us. But, then it will get chilly later in the week.

How adorable is this. Such a great creative idea even if it wasn't your own to start with. You did a fabulous job putting this together with the great background. Glad to hear that you guys are doing okay. We have been having pleasant weather where I need a light jacket at 7:30 in the morning when I go out to feed my outside kitties, but then it warms up nicely.

I adore these fun cats made from flag dies and creative eyes and whiskers. That background reminds me of cats too. The white circle really makes them good looking.

Looooove it!!! I saw a Halloween decoration last week when I went with my aunt Norma to Valparaiso, IN. to shop around the Antique stores, I almost bought it, but I decided not to, I have so many decorations and I really don't decorate all that much since my grandkids are older now.
Your card is awesome, love the cute noses on these sweet kitties and those whiskers are just to stinking cute.
Thank you for sharing with us at 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE and for letting your followers know we have some really cool prizes at the challenge blog.
Stay healthy and safe, my friend.

Your Halloween cat card is too cute for words! What a great idea to use the flag dies! I may have to CASE this card for some of my cat lovers. This weather situation is out of control. We were having really nice weather and then the change came. Like you we are safe and dry so I don't want to complain too much. I heard from our friends in Florida and they are thankfully OK!

Oh my goodness is that ever clever, I love what you used for their faces. So sad when people save the picture but not from the site. Very cool way you did the background too, so fun!
