Fish Splishin'

Hello and happy day to you!

Things haven't been going right in my stamp room lately.  I can't color worth a darn, equipment fails me, techniques don't turn out... just to name a few.  I decided to quit worrying about it and do another Rubbernecker week.  This week will wrap up the last of the not-yet-used Rubbernecker stamps in my basket -- hooray!  Today it's a stamp called Fish Group.  I love these guys.  It's an older stamp and I think no longer available.  I must have gotten the last one.

For this card I watercolored with Twinkling H2Os.  You can't see much twinkle, but I like the colors.  I'm trying to show the bubbles in the picture below.  I spent a good amount of time cleaning the nozzles on all my Nuvo drops, so I'll be using them more often now.  They have to be rinsed clear after each use or they clog.  At least that's my experience.  They're an awesome product when properly cared for.

I cut a Big Splash Border (Memory Box 2013) and stenciled make-believe sunrays.  It's all just fun and whimsy as I work my way through this mojo slump.

I hope these fish faces will make you smile with me a little bit.

Sharing at Darnell's NBUS Challenge #39.

What a happy cheerful card! I love it. Can't remember the last time I used my Twinkling H2Os. So now you've inspired me to at least see if I can find them!

Boy do I EVER identify with your feelings! But like you, I'm in the room, doing tiny bits of creativity, hoping to complete a few cards within the year LOL. I can NEVER see anything wrong with your colorful masterpieces, Leslie. This one made me smile! How smarmy a few of those fish look! Stenciling on the top was a genius idea! Cute as can be. (big hugs) for you and Rich, and thanks for the sweet card share! xx

This is such fun, I love it. Well done for using all your rubbernecker stamps, that's a very good achievement so don't fret about your lack of mojo. It will return in it's own good time, but rest assured that it is not showing on this wonderful creation. I love those fish and how you have used that die and stencil. The Nuvo drops are the perfect finishing touch too xx

I am not sure if you were talking about this card or not but I see nothing wrong with your coloring, it is terrific, those fish are too cute and love all the colors you used, like how the water turned out too. , neat use of the die and like the sunshine at the top!
I have never tried to rinse clear the nozzles but have noticed some seem to work better than others do.
Hope you are happy with your next creative time and nothing fails you!

I love the hilarious faces on these fish. It sure makes me smile and the colors are perfect. Sorry to hear that things aren't working as well in your craft room. My days have been busy and I have no time to spend making cards and oh the pile of new stamps has increased as the shopping seems to be easier than the making.
