Easter Cupcake

Hello!  It's good to see you after all this time.  My apologies for being away so long.  I've had some other things on my mind and sometimes wonder if I'll be able to continue blogging at all.  Today I'm giving it another try.  You are kind souls to bear with me.

'Tis the season for Easter cards.  I do not have any new Easter stamps or dies, but I've always been partial to this oldie Impression Obsession Happy Wishes cupcake which I've probably only used once before, tsk tsk.  I colored with Tombow markers and blender, then nestled into a pretty Tutti Butterfly Oval which I'd cut from a previously made background piece.

The Greetings sentiment is twinkling with Wink of Stella.  I added clear gems, a silver self-adhesive border strip, and extra flowers cut with the Tutti die.

I'm going to join the April Spring challenge over at Four Seasons.  Anything goes spring, and that includes Easter!

Thank you for sharing your time with me.  I'll be back soon, I hope.  Take good care till we meet again!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such sweet comments! I just love your adorable Easter card. The cupcake is so cute with the bunny inside! It is so bright and cheerful and makes me feel like spring. I haven't had much time in the craft dept. lately either but hopefully this weekend. I always feel better after creating something. Take your time, we will be here for you. Have a good weekend.

I definitely know how you feel about blogging. After injuring my shoulder it has been hard for me to get back in the swing of things. I love your card...especially the die in the background and your coloring is lovely! Thanks for joining us at the Four Seasons...You are always welcome here!

A beautiful Easter card, what a cute stamp it is and how clever to nestle in the Tutti die!! You CAN'T quit blogging we would all miss you and your beautiful designs, so don't even think about it as it's NOT allowed!! Thank you for the nice comment on my origami dragonfly, that thing was a nightmare for me and I didn't even want to show it! Hope you are having some nice Spring weather, we had snow, again on April Fools Day, I didn't find it funny!!!

This is so beautiful. I love the cute bunny image and the oval die is fabulous. You always do such lovely cards. I would sure miss you and your lovely creations, not to mention Wally and LuLu. I hope they are all doing well.

Leslie, your card is beautiful. All your creations are artistic treasures and they would be so missed if your blogging came to an end. But, just as for me, I have rearranged my priorities of late - some due to what is going on around this world and some due to personal health reasons. Crafting is such a huge part of our lives that I do not think I could cut it off completely, I just do it quietly and not so much with blogging but I still love to see what you and all my blogging friends are doing. Leslie, stay well, and have a happy heart in all you do! Hugs and blessings

So good to see you posting, we are here for whenever you get the time and the want to share :) Continued prayers for you and the family, big virtual hugs too :)
Love your sweet Easter card, the little bunny in the cupcake is too cute and I just love how it looks all framed with your die, I love using our backgrounds we have made for diecuts, makes the process go faster, like how you did your sentiment at the bottom and the pretty added flowers and gems to go with it!

Leslie,
SO good to see your lovely card. You have such a way with coloring and putting together different parts and pieces to end up with gorgousness.

I know how quickly time goes and how easily it gets filled with other things, blogging can naturally take a back seat sometimes, but it is lovely to see you again, and your card is quite stunning. I love how you have created a perfect Easter card without any Easter supplies. It just goes to show how versatile our supplies can be if we can just learn to think of them in different ways. Your lovely birthday card is now sitting on my mantlepiece, thank you xx

As Diane said, you can't stop blogging all together! I would miss you so and always am inspired by your creativity! So even if your posts are few & far between, I will be here in support of any time you have to share with us!
I know it's been a very difficult and long year for you and continue to keep you in my good thoughts and mindful prayers. HUGS

oh yea almost forgot ... teehee ... Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Four Seasons Challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back again soon.

You have brought this bunny to life with your coloring and what a scrumptious cupcake! The oval butterfly frame is perfect for sharing this off! I hope you don't stop blogging because my day always brightens when I see your name pop up in my email. The nice thing about it is that you can blog occasionally and make us so happy to see you. I hope and pray that your absence isn't because of declining health at your house. Take care sweet friend. XOXO

Leslie don't stop blogging. I always look forward to seeing what you have made and what you have to say. I hope everything is ok. I think your cards are so cute and well designed. I love the fact that you typically use products that have been around for awhile Creating is magical and you do need that time just to lose yourself in it. I just had carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand. I miss creating cards and can't wait to start again

Leslie, Hi! Yes, I’ve been MIA from card making. But I’m retired now and have more time so I can make cards and scrapbook. Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi. :)

This lovely card could not be sweeter! You have such a gift for combining elements and highlighting with the gorgeous intricate dies to create something really unique and special. I'd really miss your blog, Leslie. I remember once you stopped blogging and came back to it - I ended up doing the same thing. Keep with it as you're able at any speed and we will love your sharing here. Figure out what's just enough for it to be fun. Either way, you are surely loved!

I agree with the the other sweet ladies here…please don’t stop blogging. I know I am not really the best example as life became overwhelming and I did stop but gosh,I miss the community of stampers!! I wish there was a quicker way to blog. But it is a connectedness we all long for especially now. I checked on you so many times in the last two weeks, just to see if you were okay. But good news, sad news, heartfelt news, happy sad…just don’t stop. Would miss you and this small window into your life.

Oh, Leslie! This is probably the most elegant Easter Bunny card I've seen! That cupcake and oval combination!

Your Golden babies are getting older with health complications and I know well the illness your husband was diagnosed with. My heart aches for you. That is a lot to deal with. It's a wonder you were able to create such a beauty at all but I hope it was therapeutic. No need to apologize and no pressure to post for us, take things on your own time and your own way. We'll be here when/if you get the chance or feel up to it. Sending you love, strength, comfort, and more
😘

Leslie, so excited to see this post. I have been thinking about you and Rich, I hope all is going well. Yes, Please don't stop blogging. You are my inspiration when I feel I've lost my mojo! Take one day at a time, and never feel sorry for missing time away. We all have been in a situation which pulled us away from what we love to do, so just be here when time permits.
For your card, oh my gosh, how sweet this card is! Love how you combined different elements to create this. Wonderful Easter card Leslie, so glad you posted this. Sorry for the late commenting. Have a wonderful day!

Well I'm happy to see you post! Your creations are so inspiring and so gorgeous. BUT I do know what you mean about blogging. Life happens and blogging just seems not as much fun or important or more work than one wants. I too go back and forth with those thoughts. Yet here I am still trying to keep up with it!

Hello Leslie: Sorry about this very late comment, my friend, you know how it is some days, Life kind of interferes and things get put off.
But I must say, you have the most amazing dies I've ever seen, I just love this one with the sweet little bunny sitting pretty on this yummy cupcake, love the delicate details around him and the soft colors you used.
I'm so glad you are still blogging, it might not be every day but please, don't deprive us from the joy that is seeing your beautiful creations, ok?
Stay healthy and safe.
XO
