Coffee

Hi!  I've got one more Rubbernecker card this week.  I know... enough already... but I did enjoy myself.  I even have more RN cards for later, but at the moment I'm working on something else.  Not sure how well that's going...

So... today it's a coffee card.  The sentiment is new to me, but probably not new to Rubbernecker.  The coffee cup stamp is also Rubbernecker, but an oldie and I don't even know the name of it.  I don't know why I thought I needed the coffee sentiment seeing as how I have practically zero coffee stamps, but I like this one.  It sounds like an Irish blessing.

The stamps are embossed with copper EP.  The caramel background was dry embossed and then swiped over with a white pigment ink pad.  It reminds me of the swirls in a fancy latte by a skilled barista.  A border of ancient designer paper, a hand cut glitter mat, and some Nuvo pearl drops finish it off.

That's all for this week.  Oh, wait... one last thing:

Still as precious as ever.  Love to all.

Stamps:  Rubbernecker May Your Coffee sentiment and Rubbernecker coffee cups (name unknown)  Paper:  Neenah 110 lb, SU Creamy Caramel & Purely Pomegranate, copper glitter cardstock, old SU designer paper, vanilla card base not visible  Ink:  Versamark, white pigment  Coloring:  Copics  Other:  Copper embossing powder, Nuvo Crystal Drops - Rhubarb Crumble, Cuttlebug Musical Flourish embossing folder

First things first! Thank you for the photo of Wally and Lulu! I was hoping to see them soon. Now back on track...love the card and that sentiment is perfect. Great look for the background embossing folder. When working I would have needed this card for sure. But I still really enjoy my coffee and am constantly searching for ways to create the perfect cup!

Oooh, I love the white ink over the embossing on colored cardstock. I just made a note to myself to remember to do that. Your card is gorgeous! What a great picture of Wally and LuLu.

That is a neat sentiment and goes great with your cups, like the colors you used with them, perfect embossing to go with the theme and I like the swiping of the ink pad. Great choice for your pattern paper peeking out there and your strip matches your coffee cup perfectly.
Those two are just so precious together, sibling love :)

Wonderful. Love the saying and the coffee cups image.
I'm working on a fun fold structure with coffee and wine... we're both on the same wave length...
The pic of the dogs is precious. Have a great day

HaHaHa!!! Now, that's a sentiment!! I totally agree!!!! What are Mondays without a strong cup of coffee, and I know that would taste better with a friend.
Love these cute cups and the way you framed them, and the embossed background sponged with white looks amazing, I need to remember to do that!!
Now, that picture of your sweet fur babies is priceless, Leslie, I'm always grateful you share this gorgeous doggies with us.
Take care and stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.

Awe, you made my day Leslie, love when you post Wally & Lulu. 2 gorgeous fur babies! Amazing card, love all the details on this Leslie. At first I thought the background was done with paste, but it is not! Your colour combination is so perfect for your coffee card. Fabulous sentiment and love the sparkle behind the image. Have a wonderful weekend Leslie. Temps in the 70's on Saturday and low 80's on Sunday then it drops backdown to 40's. Hope to get some birding and gardening done!

It's hard to know what to say about your cute card after seeing these gorgeous goldens, Leslie!
You're certainly right about the blessing - and every other design decision you made for your caffeinated card is fabulous!

Love the papers and colors on this design. The papers add such a sense of texture and movement. The sentiment is so cute and the little bit of glitz from the glitter paper is perfect. Your photography skills always impress me too.

fun stamp with the four mugs and love that sentiment.
But I must say Lulu and Wally stole the show. I love how they are so comfortable with the other laying their head on their back. Tika does this to Dylan and it looks so cute. No other dog could do it to him as it's a gesture of dominance :)

Hi, Leslie
I love your card and the colors for the background and the border! I like sparkles and this card sparkles! BUT - the best was last! I just love your fur babies!!! Hugs to you and them!

What a great card! All your colors and DSP go together so well! I so glad you posted a picture of your babies! They are just adorable! My thumb is now clicking away which makes it difficult to type and on top of that my bicep tendon popped the day before Easter. They say it is due to wear and tear and of course age! LOL! We made it through the day thank goodness. Hope things are going well with you and yours!

I do love coming to your little corner of the world where you show your talent. I really like your coffee card with the snarky sentiment and the copper glitz. I always learn something from your posts and I admire your talent in photography and blog writing. I need to do more coffee cards, I have the stamps and I like coffee, so what is the problem?

Happy to see those cute little furry faces. Your card is fabulous even though I am not a coffee drinker. These days with not being among the working, I'm okay with a longer Monday. I now have my college classes to deal with and can use all the time I can get.

I think the new sentiment and from your stash coffee mugs are a great match! I like the sentiment - although I drink tea and love my Mondays, lol! The white inking and glitter mat - you think of the best extra touches! So happy to see your loved canines too. Take care, Leslie!

This is such a fascinating card, Leslie! There are so many "layers" of interest in your design. (I have many coffee stamps but never use them!) Your choice of copper EP is perfect for the design, too. It's another winner, for certain.
