Spring Floral Heart

Recently I decided I didn't have enough pretty flower stamps... wait, what?  Okay, truth be told, I felt like shopping for some new pretty flower stamps.  Naturally, I went straight over to 1-2-3 Stitch and searched "flower stamps".  It wasn't easy to keep my order down to a reasonable size, but this Spring Floral Heart by Impression Obsession was definitely staying on the list.

I don't know if it's a recent release.  When I shop I'm generally searching a genre, or designer, or a specific stamp, so all manner of things may jump into my cart along the way.  I embossed with Ranger Princess Gold and watercolored with Tombow markers.  Finished with gold sequins.  The popped up sentiment is from a new to me Stampendous set.  All supplies are listed in the recipe below my signature.

Sigh... such a beautiful stamp and I'm a hopeless addict.

Thank you so much for visiting today.  What would I do without you?  Have a fantastic day!

Stamps:  Impression Obsession Spring Floral Heart, Stampendous Birthday Smiles  Paper:  Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140 lb hot press watercolor, SU Blush Blossom  Ink:  Versamark, SU Not Quite Navy  Coloring:  Watercolor with Tombow markers  Other:  Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder, gold sequins, Spellbinders Scored and Pierced Rectangles, Spellbinders Fancy Tags One (used only an inner rectangle), Scotch brand foam mounting tape

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous Leslie! Your watercolouring is done to perfection as always. Love the vintage vibe to this. Your colour choices work so well together. BIG Sigh!! I just love everything about this! You have started my day off well, so happy I looked in my Feedly before work today! I think many of us are 'hopeless addicts', they just keep producing such beautiful stamps (especially florals) how can you not resist! Have a wonderful day Leslie! Hugs,

WOW!! I can see why this image jumped into your cart, it is stunning the way you have embossed and colored it, honestly when I first saw it I said WOW! The colors are just gorgeous together, one of my very favorites you have done, though I always LOVE them all! I had to laugh when you got the urge to shop for new florals, I do that quite often myself, so much out there to tempt us isn't there, but it sure makes me happy to get new 'stuff'!!

Shut the front door! Leslie, this AMAZING! I love the embossed gold and as always, your coloring is stunning. Such beauty! I think we are ALL addicted; but it's better than being addicted to something that's harmful to us, right? That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! XO

What a beautiful flower stamp that you found! I was watching Gina K the other night where her tip was to emboss the stamp. I'm not a good colorist but I think this may help me. Your coloring is just amazing! I like how you add some glow around the stamp as well. Looking forward to some more goodies that found their way into your basket!

I am really glad you added this to your shopping cart, Leslie, because it is GLORIOUS the way you've done it up in gold and those beautiful flower colors! I think it's neat the way you search and shop, by theme. I've never done that!

There is nothing more rich than GOLD EP! HOW gorgeous! This reminds me of the day back in 1989 when I first saw a PSX corner in a gift shop. It was full of beautiful PSX floral art stamps, Gold EP, and Tombow markers. I was smitten. Every payday, I went to that store and added to my stash. The markers lasted until a few years ago! I love this card, Leslie, and the softness around the outside of the image. hugs, de
