Let it Be

Hello, my friends!  I colored a Power Poppy digital stamp for today.  It was a freebie a few years ago and I don't think it's available now, but I thought the sentiment was quite appropriate for our current situation.  Most of you will recognize the Beatles' song which inspired the stamp.  With its comforting lyrics and soothing melody I couldn't get it out of my head for the longest time.

Edited to add:  It's back!  This free digital download is back in the shop and available here.

I colored with Copics and applied glossy accents to the letters.   Found some older designer paper that coordinated nicely, and even added a couple of brads.

I typed the word, "free", into the search field in the Power Poppy shop and these results popped up.  See the first 5 items.  There are some pretty things I'd forgotten about!

Now, I'll direct you to the Power Poppy blog where I believe you'll see more team samples -- miscellaneous this and that, and all a delight to the eyes.

You all take care of yourselves, keep on enjoying life, and let the rest of it be.  Hugs to all!

A very unique 'stamp' that really is perfect for now. Another beautifully designed card and the glossy accents really make the letters stand out. My power poppy order just came as well as my quite 'ahem' large CC order and can't wait to use them as soon as I get this room finished, it's coming, slow but sure!

Leslie, what a fabulous design. Your coloring and adding of the glossy accents is fabulous. The brads need to be there and the strip ofpaper. Love every little thing about this stunning card.

Hi, Leslie! It's a beauty! And yes, as soon as I saw your card, the words began in my head. When I got to the part that says, "and when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine on until tomorrow, let it be." Thanks for sharing and yes! It's a perfect theme!

So do you have lots of brads? I do, and have been slowly using them. They are so cute! xx

I love the use of the glossy accents on the letters, great addition! Of course your coloring is terrific and the brads and the yellow strip work great to pull out of the colors of the letters too!
