Life and Love

Hello there!  Wrapping up the blog week with some Power Poppy.  I've watercolored the Asters Abuzz digital stamp for an anniversary card.  I think it works.  I've made lots of anniversary cards for a particular friend so I'm always looking at what I have through new eyes.

I've  used my Tombow markers for the watercolor.  Poppystamps Dotted Curve and some wood grain designer paper for a little interest in the layout.  The sentiment was cut with Sizzix Fancy Tags.  These are not new things on the market, but well loved.

The massive sale is still going on at Power Poppy.  Lots of clear stamp sets are retiring.  I believe all digis are on sale, including this one.

My Power Poppy friends have a few cards to share with you, too:

Stacy Morgan
Barbara Campbell
Broni Holcombe
Nancy Sheads
Christine Okken

Thanks so much for your time.  Wishing you a beautiful day!

Beautiful!! Pretty sunshiny colors that make me wish I could be outside in my gardens, but it is snowing hard on my Spring blooms. I love the pretty design of your card and the bees too!! Looking forward when you post more of your flowers and of course Wally and Lulu..have a great day!!

What a lovely, soft, endearing anniversary card, Leslie! I especially like the 2 pollinators, because it takes the effort from two people for a great relationship. SO LOVELY! Can I say the word LOVE again? (of course I love that sentiment, too LOL) hugs, de

Thank you so much Leslie for sharing your flower garden so beautifully colored. Love the bee, sentiment tag and DSP too.

Haven't we had the most gorgeous weather for gardening? Several 70-71 degree days and yesterday was a crazy 77 degrees...all temps in the shade:-) I am thinking we could use some rain if not for any other reason, than to rest our backs! Denny has even tilled the veggie garden 3 times...crazy..Take care, stay safe and creative, my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy

Wow outstanding, you get such great detail results in your watercoloring, so lucky your friend is to get this beauty. I love the wood background with it and the shape to cut out your image, great touch! Love how you have used the yellow and blue for the background too, that has a great shape on the tag!

Thanks for the beautiful day wishes, Leslie! I'm late to visiting. Your beautiful card is a great highlight to my day. The colors are vibrant and rich. The details on the bees are amazing! NO matter what medium you use to color, the depth and details you get are exceptional. The tag and light colors with the sentiment are so elegant. Sending hugs your way.
