Paws-itively Love These Cats

Hello, and welcome to a brand new week!  I have two cards today, one colorful, one soft, and both using my Gerda Steiner All Cats stamp set with miscellaneous dies in the card designs.  This was a fun play on a day I didn't feel too great, so smile cards were definitely in order.

Designer paper, dies, and a lightly stenciled cloudy sky background on the first card.  I'm happy to have used my new-ish Cottage Cutz Birdhouse with Vine again.  All dies and such are listed below the picture.

(Heffy Doodle Cloudy Skies stencil, Cottage Cutz Birdhouse with Vine, Paper Smooches Foliage 1, Hero Arts Wood Frame, Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes)

Inside, an encouraging kitty friend is holding the sentiment:

Next is for a birthday.  Could be for the littlest girl next door, or for a grown up girl who likes kitties.  Brand new to me is the Poppystamps Scribble Daisy Heart Frame.  I cut it once from soft yellow, then again from matching designer paper.  Trimmed out just the heart and layered over the plain yellow.  Added punched hearts.  Simple.

Closer, just because it's soft and cute and I love the Scribble Daisy Heart Frame.  More to come with that in the near future.  I do have a coordinating heart die for the center.

Inside... love how this stamp adds yet more happy to the inside.

Sharing at Gerda Steiner Designs Share Your Design February Challenge.  Always anything goes with Gerda Steiner stamps.

I have five more Gerda Steiner sets not-yet-used, so I'd better get a move on.  I did go nuts for these stamps!  Have yourself a very happy day!

So sorry you weren't feeling up to par yesterday. Hope today is much better for you. There are darling cards, Leslie. LOVE that first little grumpy kitty, especially. He's rather amusing! And I wonder what soft kitty has in that itty bitty box? Looks like a diamond might fit nicely in there.... Great cards, my friend. Fun stamps. Bev

Oh my goodness are these just precious, the expression on that first cat is just priceless, I love it and that frame is so neat out of pattern paper too! Great pick me up card that's for sure!
Your sweet birthday card brings smiles too, love the yellow and how you used patterns for the inside heart, love the pink touches to the cat! That cat and sentiment on the inside is so cute!
Hope your creative session helped lift your spirits and you were feeling better afterwards!

Oh my, I absolutely love both of these! These kittens are so adorable. I really like the cat on the first card, kind of a sour puss, and love the bird on his head. Great compositions on both cards, love all the details. So glad you were able to use the Cottage Cutz birdhouse because it's awesome and works so well with your card. I hope you are felling better today. Thanks for making me smile today.

Hi, Leslie! It was a joy popping over to the website to see how the stamp set looked, and then hop back to see all the fun "Leslie-style" elements come to live. That bird could not be cuter! Your darling frame, and the whimsical, Spring-time colors make this little scene come right to life. It's similar to looking out my craft room window as the birds enjoy the cat's water feature when she is not around. Your cards always have a graceful element, full of delicateness, but balanced with humor and irony! LOVE visiting my Leslie Cards blog! hugs, de

Oh, I am so not a cat lover but your cards have me loving those kitties! Absolutely love the way you've paired the crosseyed cat with the bird in the first card. It could not be any cuter! And the second card is soft and looks lovely with that special die cut frame. Sweet cards and so special. Hope you feel better very soon.
