The Fox and the Moth

The Fox and the Moth...  doesn't that sound like the title of an old timey fable?  I don't know what the moral would be, but I'm sure it would make a good story.  I grew up on fables and learned a lot from them.  They helped shape my character.  Is there anything remotely similar to fables for kids these days?

Well... in this case The Fox and the Moth is a brand new digital stamp at Power Poppy.  Sigh... you know I love the outdoors, the woods and wildflowers and furry creatures.

Did you know Marcella is doing a Digital Blitz this month?   Bunches of fabulous art to color!  Click here to see the newest offerings, but check back later, too, 'cause Marcella's been in the zone.  Dang, I want to color everything!

I printed this as large as an A2 card could hold and colored with Copics.  The cardstock is Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth Solar White.  Framed with Hero Arts Wood Frame (set of 4).

I'm going to hurry and do some more coloring now.  I also have other cards I'll be posting in the meantime.  See you again soon!

Do they still teach fables? I used to enjoy learning what they meant, and how they applied to my life. Leslie, just when I think there is no way you could ever color anything so masterfully more beautiful than your last creation, you do it again. So I'll say it... This is the prettiest scene you have ever colored! The gentle halo around your elements, the awesome highlights in the leaves (all of them), THOSE LICHEN, the foxes tail... how do you do it? How do your precious fingers control the movement of color like they do? Sigh. On the plus side for me... I get to see Beauty through your soul, and marvel at your combination of elements - like today's woodsy frame. REALLY gorgeous! hugs, de

Leslie, this is so cute. I love that little fox and of course your coloring is always amazing. You've colored the moth so it looks like it is 3-D and flying in the beautiful sky.

OMG!! Your coloring is fantastic!! The fox and moth look so real! I feel like I could reach out and touch them!! I don't think there are any fables today! Things have certainly changed since I was growing up. All your cards are so beautiful, but I think - in my opinion - this is among the best!

I am glad you fremed this beauty. I think I need to find that frame...you can never have to many frame dies. Notice I did not say stamp set. After taking a few lessons, the details on this stamp sends my head reeling. You continue to amaze me.
