Squirrel Feast

Oh, what fun, I cracked open the seal on a new Art Impressions stamp set!  It's called Feast Mode and I love it to pieces.  There are four critters and lots of sentiments in the set.  It even has flowers.  I'm just getting started with today's card.

I colored with Copics and cut the image with a cross stitch die which I'm loving for fall cards this year.  Added some punched hearts and a couple of oak leaves for dimensional decoration.  One heart with leaf is popped up.

You may have guessed this is a Thanksgiving card.  Inside says "May your life be full of thanks and giving".

I'll get back to this set later as I have some other things to color first.  There's still time before Thanksgiving.  Supplies listed below, but the only new thing is the stamp set.

Wishing you a happy day!

Stamps:  Art Impressions Feast Mode  Paper:  Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth Solar White, Neenah Husk, retired Stampin' Up! designer paper  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black  Coloring:  Copics  Accessories:  SU 3-in-1 heart punch, Scotch foam mounting tape  Dies:  Memory Box Cross Stitched Frame Borders, Impression Obsession Small Leaf Set

I don't think my comment came through so I will try again. I love the background papers as the colors just seem to pop. Then there is the cute little image that you colored to perfection. You do play well with color my friend!

Well I can certainly see why you love this set, how adorable he is and the paper you used behind is a perfect match...will be looking forward for other critters from this set! Our squirrels here have been squirreling away the walnuts and pine cones, they have HUGE piles under the pine trees, so many that Greg thought I raked them there and he thought I did..nope! Looks like another bad winter for us, maybe I had better be like the squirrels and stock up LOL!

What a fun set, Leslie. The squirrel and those nuts are perfect for coloring and bringing smiles to the recipient. Perfect for Thanksgiving and the fall in general.

What fun indeed! Love this! Your squirrel is so cute bundled up in his woolly sweater, ready for fall weather. Love the background paper, it suites your image very well (I have some of this paper as well, kind of forgot about it). Those yellow hearts make this pop! I just went and checked out the stamp set, and can't wait to see what you do with the fox. He is so adorable. Well it is definitely sweater weather here, actually I wore my winter coat and gloves this morning when we were out birding. Very chilly. I love the fall but not ready for winter to be here. Thanks for sharing Leslie, enjoy your day!

You know how much I love critters and this one is adorable! And what a great sentiment for a Thanksgiving card! What I love best is that patterned paper. It has long been gone from my stash but has always been a favorite! Can't wait to see the other cards you'll make with these fun stamps!
