Hearts and Flowers Anniversary

Hello stamping friends!  I'm a little off this week, having been busy finishing up the last of the anniversary cards per a friend's request.  This one is fun and funky and different, so I thought I'd pop in with it today.  It all started with the sentiment and trying to come up with something different.

Spellbinders Classic Hearts, Heartfelt Creations Sunkissed Fleur dies, and a Poppystamps Lovely Gift Bow.  Lots of color on white with a bit of fun designer paper.  Bright and cheerful!

The sentiment is from an Art Gone Wild Words to the Rescue set called "Variety Pack 1".  See the inside below:

There are a lot of things I'd like to be doing right now stamping-wise, such as working with more not-yet-used stamps, and sorting and perhaps purging some stamps, but most of all I'm eager to start the coloring lesson I purchased from Vanilla Arts.  I've taken a peek at it and can see I have much to learn.  Then again, it's springtime and there are a lot of non-stamping things to do as well.  I wonder how I'm going to fit it all in.

I do have something already made which I'll pop in with later.  Till then...

Fantastic anniversary card, Leslie! Fun, cheerful, gorgeous and pefect! Love the sentiment too! And the combination of the hearts and flowers is stunning! I am in total disbelief to hear you bought coloring lessons!! I don't know anyone who can beat your coloring skills already! You are already the one I want to be someday! I can't imagine how you could ever get better than you already are!!

Bright and cheerful and happy, too, Leslie! I love the pattern, design, dimension, and color you've achieved! Personally, I think YOU should lead an online card class!! Hugs, Darnell

What a fun anniversary card. I love how you used the happy colors and used the sentiment to pick out what you put on the card. Great design.

Fabulous anniversary card Leslie! Love your design with the hearts and flowers. Such a happy card both outside and in. Sentiment is perfect! I have thought about one of the Vanilla Arts classes but have yet to purchase one. Yes, how to fit it all in. I'm finding that right now with doing a lot of yard work, but I need to make a couple cards over the next week, now I'm back to work tomorrow after being off! So much to do so little time! I hope you find the time sooner than later to do your class. Would love to hear how it was. Enjoy your week.

This is a fun and beautiful anniversary card, Leslie! I love the bright colors, the textures and amazing elements combined with terrific sentiments. Lovely and unique. I can't wait to see how you like the coloring class. I agree, you could teach such a class and we would all come and learn from you! I learn so much from all your blog posts. How wonderful that you share them for free!

Cute anniversary card. The flowers are so springy and very little stamping makes for quick cards.
