SAY IT WITH BOLD AND BRIGHT FLOWERS

If it seems like I use a lot of Bugaboo digital stamps, well, you're not imagining it.  It's those darn 50% off sales they have.  And the Friday Freebies.  Generally, when I take a Friday Freebie I purchase at least one additional digi.  I was better at collecting them than I was at using them, but recently (okay, about a year ago, sheesh) I printed all of them and have been working my way through ever since.  Trouble is, I've collected more along the way.  Honestly, I've slowed down, though.  Over at Bugaboo the image I used today is considered an oldie, but I consider it just plain fun.
It's one of the Make it Snappy images, called Thanks a Bunch.  I colored with Copics to match the MME Notable designer paper -- one of my favorite collections and it's nearly all used up.  Die cut some ric rac, stitched it up, and called it done!
Since I love these "use it up" or "retro" type challenges I'm linking to one today:
Shopping Our Stash - A Stitch in Time (use stitching, real or faux).  I straight stitched and zig zag stitched.  Paper and oldie digi were "shopped from my stash".
Supply list is below.  Have a happy day and a great weekend!

Stamps:  Bugaboo Thanks a Bunch digi  Paper:  X-Press It Blending Card, Memory Box Granny Smith, teal Bazzill, My Mind's Eye, Notable designer paper  Ink:  Printer, Copics for coloring  Accessories:  Taylored Expression Ric Rac Borders, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

Oh this is just beautiful!! Love those flowers and you have matched them perfectly with your papers, the ric rac with the stitching is so pretty and I love how you went over the sentiment with the red. That is a great idea to print a bunch off ahead of time, may be just what I need to do :)

Oh, Leslie, I love this happy and cheery card! And I agree about loving this DP! What an adorable digi, and I love how you've colored it...looks like a seed packet...so sweet! And I really need to get my sewing machine uncovered and just use it. I love your stitching...really finishes your card nicely. I also love the ric-rac too (another thing in my stash!). Thanks for inspiring, my friend! Just seeing this card makes me smile! Hugs, and have a great weekend (whatever those are...hehe!).

This is absolutely darling, Leslie! You colored that image up beautifully and certainly found the most perfect papers ever for your background! And I do believe I spy ric rac on your sweet masterpiece. I think we have a shared affection for that! :) I applaud you for your resolve to use all of your collected digital images...I know I have several stamp sets that could use some love. Hope things are going well with your blog transition...I'll bet that has been quite a task! Squeeze those precious goldens good for me and sending you hugs as well! Hope you have a great weekend! :)
