Hello crafty friends! A new Double D Challenge starts today with the theme of "Signs of Love". The possibilities are infinite when it comes to love and I know you can imagine all sorts, subjects, and occasions, not limited to the awesome mood board prepared for you:
The DDs have a pretty great prize for a random winner. As always, creative winners are by team vote.
It's just past Valentine's Day, but as I prepared ahead for this challenge I took the opportunity to make my Rich's Valentine. I purchased the Penny Black I'm So Cute stamp in December and it didn't wait long to find its way onto a card.
Lots of sunshine on picture day made the dimension show up like crazy!
It's colored with Tombows and blender, cut out and popped up with all the good Valentine elements added around it. The papers are older Echo Park Love Notes, including the sentiment panel. It's packed full of joyful love!
I know it will remind him of our Wally dog. I hope that doesn't make him feel sad. Sophie and Ridley have worked so hard to win his heart, and I'm pretty sure it's working. Here's a pic of our Wally in which you can see the resemblance to the stamp:
He was such a special guy.
There are two additional challenges I simply have to link to:
NBUS Challenge #83 -- My never before used schtuff is the Penny Black I'm So Cute woodblock stamp.
Now it's time to visit Double D if you haven't already done so. The team has a lot of love to share with you today, and I hope you'll share some love with us in the player's gallery.
Take care, and have a wonderful day!

From the background stamp with declarations of I love you, to that sweet puppy holding a rose which it's going to know is very much love. I adore all of the layers and had a chuckle of the picture of Wally with a rose in his mouth. You are so creative
Leslie, I immediately thought of your darling Wally - what an adorable flower delivery boy he was!

Wow, Leslie - that is amazing! So many awesome details all wrapped up into one wonderful card.
Wally came to mind immediately when I first spied this adorable card! Perfect likeness to your sweet pup right down to the flower he is offering. True sign of adoring love from this little guy. That little bow is amazing! I'm sure Rich was delighted to receive this!
This is just perfect. I bet your Rich loved it xx
What an adorable valentine, Leslie! I know you both miss Wally and Sophie and Ridley do their best to take the sadness away. Love this stamp and all that dimension!

Totally adorable card. I bet Rich loved it.
What a perfect card for Valentines Day. Love all the DSP and the adorable dog with a rose matching Wally's picture. I'm sure Rich loved everything about it!
Oh my goodness Leslie, that is just the cutest and I love how you have a picture of Wally the same way. Awesome coloring and the papers are so fun and perfect, I so love that sentiment with the hearts banner too. Great sprinkling of hearts and I love the bow with it and the way the tail is sticking through :) I am sure Rich was very touched by it!
How fun that you made Rich a Valentine! I need to do better about this. I made four for our youngest grandsons though...hope that counts! lol I love the dog with the rose in his mouth...so cute!
Well, you have to know I absolutely ADORE this awesome card, right up my alley and the Wally picture brought tears to my eyes, what a gorgeous photo and beautiful post. My Mack went for all his yearly shots and I got a call back from the vet that he tested positive for Lyme disease, does NOT make me happy as he has been yearly vaccinated against it for 8 years , so the drug company was called and they are paying for all vet bills and treatments that pertain to it, fine, but it still makes me furious!!
This card is AWESOME!! I bet Rich LOVED it. That dog is so darn cute. I LOVE your photo of Wally with the flower in his mouth. I bet it was bringing it to you. What a lovely memory of him. xx
I just love it when you do critters, Leslie! You're so good at jazzing them up with just the right elements like those Echo Park papers and the sentiment banner. LOVE the bit of bows and pops of hearts and just the sweetest hint of a doily. This makes me grin from ear to ear. And such a lovely memory of Wally. Your joyful love shines!
Wow! Such a beautiful and creative card! Gorgeous picture of your beautiful Wally! Thanks for joining us at PBSC:)
Aw, sweet Wally and my Beau. They were our first fur babies and oh, so special. I’m thinking that brought a smile to his face for sure. This is so cute and so you! What a sweet valentine and isn’t that the most perfect stamp to remember Wally and love. Xxxx
So cute, a golden would be running away with the flower not wanting to give it back 😂
Wally looks so sweet with a flower in his. mouth ❤️, I bet Sophie and Ridley get up to their own mischief xx
This is glorious! I love all of the pretty layers, depth and dimension! What a FAB design! And that sweet pup, he does look like your precious Wally! (((hugs))) I bet your hubby was delighted with this beauty! LOVE!
Awe, how utterly adorable, this just makes me smile so much. Having had so many fur babies that have crossed the bridge, I can feel your emotion. Sorry I'm so late to the party, I thought I had already commented on our blog. Fabulous work, my friend.
