Hello again and happy Wednesday! I've made another fun card with Simon Says Stamp Ocean Horizon today. This time I've paired it with SSS Birdies who look a little nervous to find themselves out on Halloween night. The sentiment, ghost, and stamped bats joined in from elsewhere in my stash.
Nothing but make believe here, and a whole lot smiles in the process. I used a different method this time for the background. I blended the inks first, and then cut. Just experimenting. There are endless things you can do with this background die. Use all or part of it, flip it upside down for a sunrise, make a funky rainbow, color it any which way. Not selling, just saying. Today I blended green at the lower edge to suggest land rather than ocean.

Such a fun and whimsical halloween card. Not too spooky at all. Those birds do look a bit perplexed though! Your background is just perfect for this moonlit scene.

Leslie, if you joined my husband on the deck while he is photographing the Heavens above you'd not smile when the bats come out! I'm always so afraid he'll bring one in with him!!! EEEK!
That background die is a keeper for sure - see those birds' eyes? Just what mine look like when he slides that door open!

Bats are creepy but not on this card! I'm loving your creativity with this FUN background die. Can't wait to see it again! The birds are adorable in black and white. They do look a bit spooked!

You are doing a fabulous job with that die for great backgrounds, I think having the ghost under them and bats flying above have the poor birds scared. Wonderful blending of the colors and like the shadow you put on the sentiment!

This is fabulous and Halloween was the first thing I thought of when I got this die, how clever to add those fun birds, I have yet to use my die, it is in the never ending pile of new!!
