Happy Mail

Hello friends!  I'm getting some flowers colored before the end of summer.  My flower pots are still going strong with no indication of giving up for a long time yet, and the pink Amaryllis in the garden are just now in full bloom.  I was thinking of all those colors when I got to work on this.

Again, I've done no-line coloring with Tombows and blender.  The die and stamp are both Penny Black from earlier this summer (spring?), and the birthday sentiment and sprinkles are retired Stampin' Up.

Closer:

I'd like to play along in the following challenges today:

Tic Tac Toe #225.  I've used the center vertical row -- birthday, die cuts stamping.
Triple B September.  The challenge calls for birds, blooms, or butterflies -- any or all.  The beautiful mood board inspires, but is optional.
NBUS Challenge #54.  My never before used schtuff is the Penny Black Happy Mail stamp.

Quick question:  Are you receiving my blog post emails?  I recently found all mine in junk mail.  Technology, sheesh.

I appreciate everyone who found their way here today.  Wishing you a beautiful week!

Stamps:  Penny Black Happy Mail, retired SU birthday sentiment and Itty Bitty Backgrounds (splatters)  Paper:  Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140 lb hot press watercolor, pre-cut green textured card (old Hero Arts), light green and olive green scraps for "happy"  Ink:  Ranger Archival Pale Ochre, SU Close to Cocoa, Palette Landscape (green sentiment)  Coloring:  Tombow markers with homemade blender solution  Other:  Penny Black Happy Edger die

Oh, I am so excited to see this! Your flowers look so beautiful, fresh and glowing with your coloring! If I had to guess in advance what Penny Black products you might purchase, it would have been just this! I love seeing how you've used them. The yellow hues of the envelope are a lovely detail that I would not have thought of. We really are two peas in a pod, Leslie!

I am getting your blogging emails, though I usually wait until I hit my reader on my laptop before visiting. The coloring on these are gorgeous. Love the pinks.

Oh my gosh. You have brought those flowers to life, Leslie! Gorgeous colours and so pretty with them bursting out of th envelope. Your no-line watercolour is fantastic ... it looks like they've been watercoloured, not coloured with alcohol markers. How did you do that??!! xx

Gorgeous flowers and beautiful aged effect on the envelope. Your happy sentiment is perfect showing the base colour of the card ♥
Yes I'm getting your email notifications the day after the post goes live which I think is normal.

Your card is just gorgeous, you took great inspiration from your garden for sure, such a lovely job on the coloring and I do like the happy border die, I have been eyeing those but keep telling myself I don't need them, we will see how well I listen to myself :)

It's a gorgeous card, like a painting that should be framed!!
A beautiful mix of colors just like a garden should be!! I am always amazed at how beautiful you can color with your Tombows!! I just emptied my pots out, it was time, they were getting scraggly, and replaced them with small pots of mums, even planted some bulbs but am having a hard time finding them this year!! Did you order from the Cottage Cutz sale, I put a small order in for a few prizes and a few for me! Oh and thanks for joining our challenge at Triple B too!

Another beautiful bouquet from your talented fingers, Leslie! You work magic with that blender and your color skills to bring flowers to life! I love the whole no-line design! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS!

I sadly do not get your post notifications in my inbox anymore. Do you get mine? The whole experience changed for me and my routine of visiting when Feedburner left us.😒 Hugs, Darnell
