For My Favorite Human

Hello!  I'm so happy to have finished another batch of Christmas cards.  I wasn't sure my trigger finger would cooperate, but I think it might be loosening up some.  Thanks for all your concern and well wishes in that regard!

My first card is very clean and simple.  I made only two of these, but I love it a lot.  All cards feature an oldie Judith stamp.  There's no name on the stamp, but I think it's called For My Favorite Human.  A dear friend gifted this from her personal stash a few years back.

For accent I stamped red stars (retired SU).  The sentiment is brand new to me -- Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings.  Simple coloring was done with my trusty Tombows and blender pen on hot press watercolor paper.  The stars and bow are glittered, but did not photograph prettily, tsk tsk.

I made the above card specifically to play in the CAS Christmas Card Challenge -- Dogs and or Cats.

I made three of the card below with the gray bricks in the background.  Just had to use my brand new Old Brick Wall stencil by Frantic Stamper.  Dies are oldies:  Cheery Lynn Holly Corner, Lil' Inker Silly Stitched Die Set.

Finally, I made three on grocer's kraft with lightly stenciled reddish bricks.  That makes EIGHT cards this month -- hooray!  Hope I'm able to keep this up so I can have a merrier Christmas season.

-- A little something extra just for smiles. --

Pictured below is our Wally, handsome as ever at 11 yrs old.  He was being Big Puppy, playing with his Christmas moose, and this photo op just happened.  Have you been missing Wally and LuLu at Goldens and Garden?  I'm sorry, I've been remiss, but will have a catch up post there this weekend.

Sending grins and giggles and safe hugs your way.  See you again soon!

Your cards are all adorable. Love the cute image. Reminds me of your fur babies. Yes, I've been missing them, but I guess with COVID, you are sticking close to home.

I'm glad to hear that your hands are feeling better! You are so good making Xmas cards - and these are adorable! Love the stamp. I like Judith stamps. Of course, Wally stole the show with this adorable picture. He looks so cute with his Christmas mouse. They definitely steal ones heart! Jennifer called today to talk about planning Daisy's birthday! She will be one year old on March 1st. Can't believe it has been a year already! She is definitely the highlight of our lives! Looking forward to seeing more pictures this weekend!

Another awesome stamp, Leslie! Love this pup with his present! The angle of him peeking in on the first is fun and whimsical and on the second, just plain happy! Glad your finger is better. Hope it keeps improving!

So happy to hear that you are doing better and was able to get so many cute Christmas cards done, I love the first where it looks like he is peeking out to say Hi :) Your coloring on them all is terrific and I like the brick wall stencil behind them, it's hard to say which I like better the gray or red wall both are terrific, of course you found some great dies to go with each scene!
Oh my goodness that picture of Wally with his moose is just priceless!!

Yes, I have missed G&G. Wally and Kilo are the same age! They are incredible companions, aren't they? I recognized your stamp as a JUDITH STAMP right off the bat. I DO have some in my stash. Every time I do a purge, I think, "why haven't I used these lately?" They are among my faves. I never delete them from the ranks of images in my craft room. Your darling fur baby is the BEST! I love the super CAS card with the stars, but also, the others with the stenciled background are darling, too! Fabulous cards, Miss Leslie! hugs, de

Love the first one where he is peeking from the side of the card, and the other two - fabulous with the brick wall behind and the spring of holly. Love these! And so good for you for having 8 cards made this month! WOW, your on your way to a less stressful Christmas season. Thanks for adding the picture of handsome Wally, he is pure delight to look at. Enjoy your day!

OMGosh these cards are so dang CUTE and kuddos to you getting ahead of the holiday game, I need to follow your logic!! Super picture of Wally and his Christmas too, wow, I can't even believe that handsome boy is 11 already, my big boy will be FOUR this year and seems like we just got him, he is such a snuggle bug! Quick question, do you have any tips for when you refill your Copics, I seem to stink at it and end up just buying a NEW pen, and I have watched the how to, but mine fail everytime...thanks!

Sorry to hear you've had a trigger finger (hopefully it will continue to improve) - I've been battling a trigger thumb (fortunately my left one) - it's so annoying.

Great batch of Christmas cards! Love the different backgrounds, but the same dog image - the backgrounds make each card look totally different. He's such a cute dog with his gift for his person. Thanks so much for making a card for the CAS Christmas challenge I'm hosting.

Love the photo of your dear old Golden with his Christmas toy!
