Pure Fragrance Semi-Slimline

Hello and welcome!

Heads up:  This is my 6 am PST post and I have another post at 10 am PST today.  I hope you'll enjoy both!

Marcella is featuring some beautiful flower digis on the Power Poppy blog today.  I've watercolored Pure Fragrance and designed a mini-slimline card -- 3 3/4" x 6 3/4".

The watercoloring was done with Tombow markers.  This utterly feminine image seemed a good time for stitching and lace.  Making note to self to dip into my lace stash more often.  This subtle and delicate addition adds no weight and slips easily into an envelope.  Love that!

Also being featured today is Volumes of Beauty -- another gorgeous digital stamp illustrated by Marcella.  I don't know which image my teamies have colored, but let's see samples here:

Thank you for visiting.  Have a happy day!

Stamps:  Power Poppy Pure Fragrance digi  Paper:  Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140 lb hot press watercolor, Neenah white card base  Ink:  Printer  Coloring:  Watercolor with Tombow markers  Other:  Lace, sequins, stitching

sighhhhh, Leslie, there is something so touching about your trademark stitching combined with your oh-so-gorgeous coloring skills. I am always mesmerized by both. Another thing "trademark" about your stitching is the combination of stitch styles. They always make me do a triple-quadruple "take" of the details. The pale rosebud is especially delicate. ANOTHER SIGH... complete contentment and enjoyment in being lost in the beauty of your fantasy garden. It's beautiful! hugs, de

Leslie I love the soft and beautiful way this feels. The slimline is a great way to show off a partial image as well. Turned out just beautiful.

What a gorgeous flower digi. I love the colors you chose! I think this was meant to be for a slim line card. I agree - Nothing like stitching and lace on a card.

I just LOVE to see your copic colouring Leslie. This card is PERFECTION! You add so much depth and dimension with your shading, the flowers look 3-D. I LOVE the addition of the lace along the side. Beautiful and elegant, just perfect with a beautiful bouquet of flowers in a perfume bottle! xx

WOW Leslie, this card is beautiful, you colored the perfume bottle so perfectly that it looks like a real bottle, and the coloring on these pretty flowers make them look alive.
Love the stitching and your lace additions, I'm going to go check my stash of lace, I haven't used it in years.
Thank you for sharing.
Stay healthy and safe.

ACK! Oh my goodness, this is stunning! Your soft colour palette so beautifully coloured with those Tombows, the lace, and your mini slimline, love, love! I also really like that you only showcased a portion of it! I haven't been crafting since just before the Christmas, but seeing your card today, makes me want to jump back into it. Thanks always for the inspiration you provide us. Take care,
