Brand New from Power Poppy: Mossy Pots with Paperwhites

Hello everyone!  Today I'm quite excited to be able to share the first of Marcella's brand new Power Poppy stamp sets just in time for Christmas!  Marcella will tell you more about it on the Power Poppy Blog, but I would like to mention that many of the stamp sets are not limited to Christmas.  I'm totally in love with this release and I think you'll see why as each new set is revealed.

Have a look at today's set:  Mossy Pots with Paperwhites.  All new sets are available both as clear stamp sets and digital downloads.  I've made a digital composite for this Christmas card, but leave off the Christmas finery, change the sentiment, and you've got simply a nice pot of paperwhites.

I colored with Tombow markers -- no water, just markers -- on hot press watercolor paper.  The tinsel garland is cut from glitter paper.  It shows more sparkle in real life, but it actually is rather subtle for glitter paper.

I adore the sentiment font in this set, especially how Marcella has twined the leafy vines through the words.

If you haven't been there yet, be sure and visit the Power Poppy Blog where you'll get lots more details and Marcella will link you up with the stamp sets and all the designers who are sharing today.

There's lots more to come, and I'll be here each day with samples.  Thanks for your time today!

Oh this is so beautiful! Your colouring is like non other Leslie, everything looks so real, the moss looks so soft and fluffy I just want to feel it! I really like that you add the christmas baubles nestled up to your flower pot, so pretty, and I agree love the sentiment font! A beautiful image surrounded by a lovely frame and the tinsel garland finishes this off perfectly! Can't wait to see what's to come!

Hello Leslie: I've been waiting to see your amazing work using the new released images from Power Poppy.
This one is just stunning, the colors are so vibrant and festive and I love that you combined those two images on this panel, the addition of the garland is a lovely detail. And I agree, the fonts on the sentiment are so totally Marcy!!
I'm going to take a look-see at the Power Poppy store, I think I'll be getting the digis this time.
Thank you for this lovely inspiration, my friend.
Please stay safe and healthy.
Hugs.
Maria.

Gorgeous. The frame and extra sparkle are perfect for framing the beautiful pot of flowers. The moss adds a lot of pretty texture. Fabulous card.

I have decided that there is no paper, no die, no tool, no image that will not become amazingly gorgeous when the Leslie Hand touches it. How absolutely LOVELY! The mosses look incredible, the deep ridges in the pot could not be more beautifully done, and the shading in the or ornaments with the highlights is realistic. ANOTHER joyful visit to your blog (and yes, I like the vines in the LOVE, too. xx

Isn't it nice that you can change a few things and use the image for more than one occasion! Your colored images always seem to come to life and pop off the page! I like the tinsel garland that you used - just to add some glitz! Looking forward to more creations. Have a great weekend!

Just beautiful and I do not know how to do a digital composite but this is picture-perfect. It is great when we can get more use out of our stamps or digital stamps - clever lady you are! BTW thanks for my lovely card as that was so kind of you. Sending you a separate note. Big hugs

Absolutely gorgeous, your no line coloring is just outstanding, Love like you said that you can dress it up to be Christmas and then leave that stuff out and now you just have some pretty flowers, I think it would make a great new year card too! Great touch with the sparkle in the corner too with your die, look forward to the rest of the set!
