The die is Poppystamps Bellina Butterfly Collage, and is shown in full on the birthday card below. It's simple and pretty over an inky background that was sitting in my bag o' background pieces. Embossed a Poppystamps Birthday Blowout sentiment and tucked it in the side like a label.
The "hello" card was more time consuming, but fun. I had a CAS card base pre-made from when I was trying to use up the last of my Prima Fairy Flora designer paper. A good start.
- I saved the popped out parts from when I cut the full butterfly die for the first card, then cut it again just to get more pop out parts from the largest and smallest butterflies.
- Used the die cut like a stencil to guide the placement of two layers of parts on the circles.
- Colored with Copics, added glitter.
It's colorful and dimensional, but still clean looking and an easy mailer. The sentiment is from an oldie Inky Antics set. It appears black in the photos, but is stamped in chocolate brown.
Two different card designs for two different occasions using the same die. Also heading over to link up at NBUS with my not-yet-used butterfly die.
Thanks for stopping by! Stay well, stay happy. Love.

Two gorgeous cards, I have this die and it is absolutely beautiful and you have displayed them so lovely here. xx
I just love both your cards. I also love how your cards are able to be mailed with no extra postage. I always seem to add something to make it too bulky for regular postage.
Wow, what a way to use this die in a totally different look from the original, it is amazing!! Both are beautiful cards!! We are now home for 5 days and I have so much to do I don't even know where to start, in or out, so here I sit on my computer..HAH!
You really used that pretty die creatively, Leslie! I love your color choices too!
Both are so very gorgeous!
Oh I like them both. Very pretty. Hope all went well with the tree cutting. Sad.... Have a great day
These are both stunning cards. The first one is my favorite though. - Plus they remind me of my mom (see my post today). Love your cards.
Two gorgeous cards Leslie. Love the butterfly die used.

Wow..Two gorgeous butterfly CAS card designs, Leslie. Glad you hear you finally got your tree cleaned up..I am sure you are really happy too. Such a shame to lose a beautiful shade tree:-(
TFS your die cut and beautifully colored butterflies and love the background peeking thru your butterflies on your 1st card, My friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
Leslie, so good to see you in the Twofer gallery again. YOur butterfly die is fabulous layered, colored and winked up on your second card. The cut outs are beautiful on your premade backdrop with the side sentiment. Both cards are beautifully designed. Thanks for joining in at Twofer Card Challenge #29.
This is such a pretty butterfly die and I LOVE how you've used it both ways, Leslie! I love the pink butterflies and the sentiment tucked in on the side with the first card! The second card has such wonderful texture and a fabulous layout! Two very different but equally fantastic cards!
You did such a great job with these cards! It always amazes me how you can use the same stamp, die, etc. on two cards with totally different outcomes. I love your butterfly die! I'm sure you are happy to have your tree removed but now the clean up begins!
WOOHOO!!! I'm so happy to finally see your cards at The Twofer Challenge, and they are beautiful, both of them.
What an awesome idea to use the negatve of the die cut butterflies to create the first card, and the second card is also beautiful, with those amazing bright colors.
These are a lovely pair of Twofers.
Stay healthy and safe, my friend.
XO
Maria.
Two great cards, Leslie - and I'm glad you got to play in the TwoFer challenge. I meant to do that, but ... Love the pretty butterfly.
Beautiful Leslie, love the copic colouring on the die cut butterfly and the simplicity of the colour die cut with the colour peeking through :)
You know this was a challenge I actually thought I could do and then forgot about it :(
These are wonderful, I love the first with it's pretty background showing through the butterflies and the fun way to do the sentiment too! But wow that second one, so creative to use the innies and such pretty coloring of them too, great design of the card too putting them on like that and I like the strip of paper to give it a bit of interest, just two fantastic cards for the challenge!
These are awesome, Leslie! What a great and versatile die. I love that it can be used as a full card panel (and a fabulous way to use up some of those many background panels we all have on hand!) and I love the way you tucked the sediment on the side like that. And then! What fun it would be to paper-piece the negative bits or cuts from various backgrounds or even pp! Love the overlapping circles design with the pp border and fun sediment! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #29! Keep well! (So glad the fallen tree is a thing of the past now.) Hugs, Darnell
ps And thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! 💕
LOVE this butterfly die, Leslie! The shape of the wings are so pretty and you've really shown it off with your designs. Gorgeous card with the splattered background showing through. Love the label sentiment on the side. And using the negatives from the die to make your second card is not only a great way to use up bits, but you have this pretty coloured butterfly with dimension. Always inspired when I visit! xx
Wow!!Such different looks from the same die. I am always partial to monochromatic, but the added green and yellow makes that butterfly pop. Love how you put them on circles too.
Two beautiful cards, Leslie! That die is a perfect cover over an inky background and I love the combination of the pink and white. What a great way to get more out of the die by using the insides, and your large and tiny butterfly are both wonderful! So glad to see you, and thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
Your cards are stunning. I love the die. Great way to use the negative of the die too.
These are just beautiful Leslie! Love the butterfly die and the way you used it. The background on your first card is so pretty, love how the inky background shows through. Your second card - love how you used the negative parts of the butterfly to create this. Pretty colours and love your design with the 3 circles. Oh and love that paper, I still have some of this left, I need to overcome not using pretty papers and just do it! Whenever you do these challenges, I love seeing your ideas. You nailed this one! Thanks for sharing Leslie. Off to see your other posts, I'm falling behind this week!
Better you are out of the way while they clean up the fallen tree I agree. The one we had fallen no way we could of been out there. Anyways... These are super sweet. I am loving butterflies and this is so cool. I like the soft coloring and great cards.
These are both so lovely and delicate, Leslie ... the monochrome red is eyecatching and dreamy at the same time ... and what fantastic dimension and depth on your Hi card ... it's so fresh and vibrant ... and wonderfully clean! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
You always come up with something so unusual and so beautiful... These are amazing Leslie!
