It's time for another Twofer Card Challenge, friends! We're doing "Things with Wheels" this time, so put your thinking caps on and go traditional or unconventional with your trains, planes, and automobiles, bicycles, wheelbarrows, lawn mowers, whatever... you get the picture. This should be fun!
Below are the rules in a nutshell, but please see the Twofer Blog for more info.
I used another one of my new acquisitions for my Twofer cards. It's Spellbinder's Truckin' Through the Seasons, which was the October 2018 large die of the month. It was available for a while to non-club members, then not available, then available again... I kept missing out. This time when it became available I snatched it right up, no hesitation. As I write this it appears to be unavailable again. Whew, I feel lucky!
So... I have a birthday card and a baby card:
The birthday card will be mailed to a guy friend in July. Nothing like stamping ahead! I put a frame over a pre-made Distress Oxide ink background, then the truck over that. I had to slip a dog from another die set into the truck. Wally or LuLu? Our friend will appreciate it. Frame is Memory Box Pine Forest Frame and dog is Amy Designs Cats and Dogs. Sentiment from Poppy Stamps Sending Scribbles set.
Baby boy gets a plaid truck. Why not? Wouldn't it be fun to see this driving down the street? Maybe I'll do polka dots next. I have a feeling I'll use this truck a lot! Banner is La-La Land Random Flags Banner and sentiment is an older Impression Obsession set called Straight From Heaven.
Well, that was fun! I just know we'll see all kinds of your fun wheeled things in the Twofer gallery before it wraps up on the 24th. You'll get a kick out of all the team samples on the Twofer Blog, so be sure and pop over there. We have Hilary Jane and Cornelia guest designing for the May challenge, too. Happy day!
See you again soon. Wishing you all things wonderful!

Both of these are amazing! Can't decide which is my favorite! And I LOVE the plaid truck for the baby card! Only you would think of using a truck for a baby card! I love the way you think outside the box! Hugs!
A plaid truck...OMG I love it!! If I can have polka dot clouds, you can have a plaid truck!! The first card with 'Mack' (haha) in it is wonderful but he would be eating those packages right up!! What a couple of fun cards for the Twofer challenge...I saw this truck available too and had I seen your cards first, I too would of snatched it up..dang!!
TWo more awesome cards, Leslie! They look like they were great fun to make! So cute, each of them.
I Love both your truck cards, Leslie. Your DOX sponged and water splattered background is beautiful for your truck birthday card. Your guy friend will love it, especially with Wally in back. I think Wally because he is always hanging out with the boys.
Your sweet gingham truck and design is perfect for a new baby boy card. I can see you using this new truck set often too. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy
cute. have a great day
WHOA! Leslie, how did you even think these designs up? The plaid truck is completely unique and awesome, and those HURRAY letters on the tailgate are fabulous! Such a novel idea for a baby card. Of course it is Wally in the back of the other truck, because he wants to get into the packages the way he did the sleeping bag last week. Your cards are wonderful in every way possible, and I know you laughed and smiled throughout your creative process! hugs, de
Fabulous wheel designs. And, I wish I had a plaid vehicle. That is so cute.
These are both just awesome and OMG what a fun die set! Well done and great inspiration!
These cards are great, who would have thought to used patterned paper for a truck die? I works so well, what a good idea. I love the messages on the number plate too xx

I have this die and just love it! You are so creative...I love the idea of a dog in the back..and a plaid truck..so fun!
Popping in for a quick minute to let you know just how sweet these two cards, are Leslie. That truck is amazing!!! Love that you've put a dog on one, and made the other truck plaid. Great cards. xo Bev
Very creative ideas for both of the trucks, like how you added the dog to the masculine card and the plaid for the baby card was a terrific idea, like the presents in the back and the heart banner, so sweet!
I'm glad you snared that truck, Leslie, because you will be using it for any and all occasions with your clever knack of "why not" designing, which I subscribe to big time! I love both of these from the colors, to the packages in the back, to Wally joining in, and to making one of your trucks plaid for a sweet baby card!! We need to see that in real life and why not polky dotted ones, too?! I am really loving how the different sediments both worked perfectly for the license plates! Hugs, Darnell
Leslie, such a fun challenge. I just adore that truck and the way you used it for the baby and birthday cards :)
I must have been asleep at the wheel to have missed these cute cards you have made! I love the truck die and and banner die just spoke to me. I went in search of one for my stash. I actually have a similar one on the way! So you have definitely inspired me this morning. Have a lovely weekend!
What AMAZING design!! I love the background and the fun frame on the first card. The second card is so clever with the plaid truck!! GREAT take on this challenge!
I love the dog in the back of the truck! The plaid truck is so cute for a baby boy. You see ads on trucks and buses so why not a plaid truck. I hope it catches on.
Both fabulous cards and love the die-cut truck looks brilliant in plaid

Squeel! OMG Leslie this are both so so adorable! I love them both. Fabulous distress background on the first one, love how you were able to add the dog into the back of the truck and the baby boy card, so adorable, love the plaid paper and the banner. You always do so well on these twofer challenges it blows my mind on your creativity! Sorry for the late comment, just catching up this morning before heading out. Have yourself a wonderful day!
These cards are great! I really like the truck die. I'm sure you will get a lot of use out of it! I love the little dog in the back of the truck with all the goodies!
That is a great, versatile die set - so glad you had the opportunity to get it! Great background and frame for the truck, and such a cute pup! Your plaid truck is adorable! You wouldn't believe it, but our neighbors in our old neighborhood had a cleaning business and identified themselves with a pink and yellow plaid truck! Wish I had a photo to share. The plaid looked very much like your plaid, but with different colors.
When I saw the theme for this Twofer Challenge, I must confess, I was stumped, then I was so preoccupied trying to find some image with wheels that would work and I neglected to come here to tell you how much I adore your Twofers, my friend.
That die is awesome and your sponged background for the birthday card is amazing, love the splatters on it.
The doggie is super sweet, Hmm..Wally or Lulu? doesn't matter, it's so cute.
And I would totally love driving a truck with that amazing plaid pattern, the colors are just perfect for a baby boy card, love the sweetheart banner, what a perfect detail.
Awesome Twofers, my friend.
XO
Maria.

So cute! Great cards! I love the frame on the dog one...matches tire tread! I hope I have that die set! hehe
That little pup is adorable in your 'hard earned' truck, Leslie ... what a cute scene ... and so perfect for a guy! The plaid truck is downright sweet for a baby boy ... so celebratory with the fun packages and that heart banner! Sorry to be so late coming by ... life took over the last fortnight ... and just today, it decided to take a break ... phew! Hugs, Anita :)
