I love the "freedom" of your garden...if that makes sense! The foxglove growing among the lace cap hydrangea... my flowers are "scrunched" together. I know that I try to grow too many things in the amount of space that I have. The "wildness" are the volunteer columbines...which grow everywhere there is soil. Some are pretty; some not. The soil where I have most of my flowers is not good. I should have amended it years ago, and now it's stacked with clematis, hydrangeas, black-eyed Susans, and peonies. Not a good plan. I am looking forward to my new peony garden, though. 8 new peony plants and 2 transplanted ones in the space.
