I packed up my watercolor supplies for our trip -- Tombow markers and whatever digis I had printed on watercolor paper. It's easier to take Copics for travel, but I diverged this time. All those digis to choose from... I pulled out this Wildflower Mini from Power Poppy.
I left it sentiment-free so I can choose its purpose later. Instead, I stretched a length of knotted ribbon across the bottom, stitched up the sides and popped up the panel. Just a simple design for an image that fills the card front.
Here's a little peek at my campground coloring set up.
Everything fit nicely in a plastic tub no bigger than my Copic carrying case, but it was a lot of parts to pull out and put away. I'd no sooner get started than off we'd go on another activity. It sure was a nice time!
If I haven't been around to visit you yet, please know I'll stop by soon. Hugs to all and wishes for a beautiful day!

You will always be the Queen of watercolor as far as I am concerned! NOBODY can outdo you, especially with flowers! This is gorgeous! Every time I try watercolors it is a disaster! You are amazing!!!
Leslie so pretty. What a great way to relax with some watercolouring on your trip. I just got back and am slowly catching up with blogland inspiration.
I love your addition of the stitching, perfect frame for your image.

So nice you could take your supplies with you. I would probably be too involved in exploring and taking picctures. Beautiful image and watercoloring! Good idea to wait for a sentiment. I always like ribbon to finish off a card!
This is so gorgeous in every way. A wonderful water color design and it is so filled with cheer by those fantastic colors. I love it even without a sentiment.
Another masterpiece deserving a frame. Your water looks so real and your flowers are gorgeous.

A beautiful card and again, amazing watercoloring! I love the nuances of color and depth that you achieved, especial on the lovely berries and leaves. The blooms are so so pretty and I love the colors you chose!
Thanks for sharing your setup there too - looks like a great spot to create! Maybe if I had a few more colors of Tombow markers I would use them more. Oh, to be able to use them like you do, Leslie!
I'm so glad you are back, I've missed your creations. Your card is beautiful, you do such an amazing job at watercolouring. All the colours blend so well together, love the stitching and the way your added the ribbon. I'm glad you found a bit of time to colour while you were away. Sounds like a nice time away. Love your little set up at the campground too. This is such a delight to see Leslie, thanks so much for sharing.
Oh my Leslie, even on the go and being interrupted you still managed to do an outstanding job on the water coloring, that is just Gorgeous coloring, I love your touches of highlighting with the white! It seems as of late I have been having troubles finding a way I like to add a sentiment. Beautiful creation!
I've not been around for awhile. Had to leave home for two weeks due to air conditioning going out. Love your card and the fact you try to take along coloring supplies while you camp!
What lovely surroundings to craft and you have a stunning card gorgeous image and fabulous watercoloring the effect on the water is brilliant and love how you used the ribbon-a knot instead of a bow looks just perfect

That's a beautiful and beautifully colorful card, Leslie! I am smiling so wide at that sweet picture of your art studio on the picnic table! Wish I had done that all those years when we camped! It's the BEST!! Hugs, Darnell
Your card is so beautiful, Leslie! I am always amazed what you can do with a few markers and other supplies. Camping looks awesome, too. That's something I haven't done while camping - card-making. Maybe I'll give it a try some time!
Ooh! Camping and coloring! I think I want to join you!
Beautiful card my friend!
Amazing! How you bring everything to life with your colouring skills... This is fantastic! Have a wonderful trip!
Pretty pretty jar of flowers, water colored so softly and beautifully...I love flowers in a blue Mason jar, and sadly my hubby tossed a few dozen in the cleaning out of his brothers house..sigh! A beautiful set up to work with, but was wondering what you were going to do with the tomatoes LOL...just kidding!!
I LOVE this Leslie! What color did you print in? I love how you watercolored it! Beautiful!
See you get to bring your hobby with you, that is a great set up. Plus you can have some stuff already colored and just need to finish when you get home.
