Mr. Purdy Loves the Snow

Welcome back!  A big ol' snow fall may not be everyone's idea of a good time, but Mr. Purdy loves it.  He feels like celebrating!  Doesn't he look happy?

I think his name is Mr. Purdy.  I'm not sure.  He's a stamp from Plum Purdy which doesn't even makes stamps anymore.  Some of the best stamps are the oldies.

I colored with Copic markers and touched some of the snow with glitter, then framed him with Poppystamps Dancing Snowflake Frame.  I used some new-to-me Nuvo Jewel Drops for accent -- translucent with a hint of color.  The sentiment is from a handy little Poppystamps set called Believe in Magic.

I made two of these cards exactly alike.  Moving right along!  Sorry to rush off, but I've got a lot more coloring to do.  Merry, merry!

I love snowman images and this little guy has stolen my heart! The die cut frame is perfect for the image and I agree that some of the older stamps are the very best!

Oh my.... I love Mr Purdy! He is a happy fella surrounded by all those snowflakes! Leslie, you have done some magic with those copics, and love the way you did the snow in behind with the bit of sparkle on the mounds. Those Nuvo droplets are pretty too! Looking forward to seeing more creations in the days to come. Thanks for starting my week off with a smile so early in the morning. Have yourself a wonderful day!

Well Leslie, this cutie pie looks like he is just totally at home in a pile of snow. Not much of the white stuff has fallen around here in Crown Point, IN. but we had plenty of leaves, I mean GAZILLIONS of them, sheeesh!! we finished raking them yesterday, just in time for the leaf service to come and suck them up.
Anywho, I adore your sweet snow man Mr. Purdy, so round and so full of jolly happiness. Beautiful coloring as always and the frame around him is just perfection.
Thank you for sharing.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.

I think Mr. Purdy looks a little worried so your sentiment is the perfect encouragement for him. LOVE the adorable image. Your coloring is always amazing, Leslie! The touch of aqua is festive and your dew drops with Nuvo are a great touch. Sending hugs to you and Mr. Purdy today!
