Now, feast your eyes on the inspiration board. It makes me ooooh and ahhhhh. Too pretty not to play along!
I was inspired by the rose-adorned tie back on the lacy curtain. Well, actually, I was inspired by the entire board, but I focused on the rose. My design doesn't look much like a curtain tie back, but maybe you can see the point from which I jumped.
This is Stampin' Up!'s Stippled Blossoms, probably retired, but still a go-to set for me. I stamped some flowers down the side, then stamped and cut several more flowers and leaves to arrange in a cascading fashion over the ribbon and lace. A few sequins and some Black Diamond glitter on the large flower center finish it off.
The Double D team really got their Lavender and Lace on for this challenge. Many shades, many styles. Pretty stuff! Speaking of pretty, we were wow'd by all the entries for our black and white challenge. Winners are announced on the Double D blog today, too.
Thanks for sharing a little time with me today. I hope we can do this again soon!

Oh WOW! Those are beautiful blossoms from SU, I thought they were Altenew! I love your design and your glorious colors. That bit of lace beneath is fabulous too! This is a beauty through and through!
I have never seen Stippled Blossoms used so beautifully, Leslie. I love your layout, pretty spring colors, ribbon, lace and fussy cut flowers..not a die, but fussy cut? Your scissor skills are as wonderful as your coloring skills! TFS my friend. Hugs.....
This is beyond gorgeous and into a new dimension of beautiful! WOW! Love the colors you went with and your coloring is always a thing of amazement! LOVE the lace & ribbon! You always make me want to try harder to improve my skills! Have a fantastic day and hug the fur babies for me!
Oh!!! that's so pretty. Have a great day
WOWZERS! Leslie, this is stunning. Yes, it's a retired SU set, and one I refuse to give away or sell. I love it and you've reminded me to go play. That Lavender Lace color is also stunning, and I wish I was a SU demonstrator then so I could have purchased it. The Wisteria Wonder color that is supposed to replace it, just doesn't quite do it for me I'm afraid. The peek a boo lace under those gorgeous flowers are just so pretty. Thanks for sharing your beautiful creation with us. Hugs
Love this design and I can see how you created the card from the inspiration. The flowers are stamped beautifully and arranged perfectly with the lace. Love how you kept the white space on the side. Fabulous design.
Love the floral arrangement on this card Leslie, looks beautiful with your gorgeous lace, my favorite stamps from SU would`nt part with mine! what stunning colors you have used too.
Hugs Pam x

Leslie, this card is stunning! It simple, but oh, so elegant! The colors on your flower cluster are amazing. I have to say that this is one of my favorite that you have made and I love all your work.
Oh my! Leslie you have outdone yourself. That card is just so....everything. Soft, feminine, pretty. It reminds me of something you would find on a ladies dressing table. I just love it.
How pretty! Lavender and lace go together so well! That's a fascinating stamp.
Pretty flowers and pretty colors. I love the shadowy stamping in the background!
Gorgeous!! I so love the stamping and color combo you have used, lovely touch of lace with them, and excellent arrangement of the flowers. That sentiment has such a pretty style to it!
I love that SU color as well. The old colors I think were better especially when it comes to the lavenders and pinks! Flowers and lace - can't get better than that! Beautiful card!
ooooooooh! So delicate and pretty, Leslie, with those incredible flowers and delightful colors! Springtime was definitely in your mind. I especially like the "layers" of color, with the stamp off flowers in the background and the pretty flowers on top popped up a bit. The lace is the perfect touch for this challenge, and those little sequins mirror the color perfectly. Wishing you a wonderful day! hugs, de
Stunningly gorgeous! Purple is my favorite color so you know I love this one. It's perfect for the challenge!
Gorgeous! Look at that white space and those sequins... your flowers just pop off the card Leslie and the lace is wonderful touch. Gorgeous sweet friend!

This is a stunning creation! I love the cascading flowers over the lace, but the little things like the large flower center and sequins pull everything together beautifully! I love this stamp set, and I'm sorry I passed on it when it was available :)
Positively gorgeous! Really this is about the tenth time I've visited your post. I keep thinking I'll come up with something to describe your supreme talent. You bring it each and every time.
This card is so lovely, Leslie!! Makes me want to dig out my lavender lace ink...but it would never look like this...a real stunner!!
